Summer drive!

Backroads are the best with the NC. Its current setup does induce a little understeer on the limit during acceleration mid corner. What could be the cure? Its not very bad though, just a little.

Our sunset shoot got interrupted by a storm — dark skies rolling in faster than expected, turning a calm evening on the hill into a race to stay dry with the roadsters.

Soo happy with the new Archaic taillights! They add a modern, sporty touch to the NC🤍!

I actually quite like the OEM NC2/3 miata tailights, but had to scratch that itch! Double red halo's fit the NC perfectly.

Also want to do a short review on these Archaic LED lights. These are the clear lens, non rgb:

Fitment is okay. I had to trim the top of the housing (not the lens) with a knife to allow it to sit better in the body of the NC, as there is a slight bulge from welding or seamsealer in the NC body. Archaic could have prevented this by staying closer to the oem housing size. Housings did come with new foam rubber seals. Aligns very well with the 3 mounting holes in the body.

Quality is decent. Some injection molding sprue/runner marks are visible up close on the lens. Those can be carefully cut and sanded.
Wiring was done well and gave no issues, but i did notice a couple of small dust specs unfortunately.

Visibility. The lights are really bright and its easy to set up the rear fog and reverse lights.

All in all, for the money it looks to be good product. It's not OEM quality, but the price also isnt OEM expensive. In terms of quality and engineering, there is some space for improvement. However, I am very happy with them.

Do all cars look good in white?🤍

Time for some love for the daily again. My daily is a white Kia Xceed (facelift), nothing spectacular, its comfortable and i think decently looking. Especially compared to their current design language.
I did pick a white one on purpose.

300th post!
The NC brought me many places, seen many sunsets, and formed new lasting friendships!

To celebrate, some of my favorite photos I've taken in the last few years.

Over the years, I slowly upgraded the MX-5 NC3 with mods i love. Its a journey, not a race, so I take my time.

- Billstein B16 PSS10 coilovers
- Mazda RX8 yellow dot swaybars

- Rota 17' Titan with Michelin Pilot Cup2 215/45R17

Interior:
- Mazda OEM recaro seats
- Custom seat lowering brackets
- Billetworks satin black lightweight shift knob
- Center dash gauge pod with engine oil temp and pressure

Engine:
- PPE catted header
- Stainless steel catter, midpipe with resonator
- Cobalt dual tip muffler
- Custom tune 180hp 220Nm

Exterior:
- Carbon Miata carbon ducktail trunk
- Mazda Oem Club front lip
- Archaic Led taillights
- Morimoto Led foglights
