Who’s coming to Recast on Oct 26?! Any guesses as to who will be doing Bevan’s rap in BTL this time around? 👀👀👀 📸 by @harrymcfann

Heavy heart this week learning of the passing of both one of my beloved agents, Diane Riley, and the incredible composer of SPRING AWAKENING, Duncan Sheik.

Diane was the one who handled my first Broadway contract with the revival of SPRING AWAKENING. She was always so cool and proud of her clients. She even came out to see me when I was in HAMILTON in Chicago.

When I was working on the SPRING AWAKENING revival, I had the chance to tell one of my musical idols how much his show had impacted me in my teen years and beyond. I’m grateful I had that chance to be in Duncan’s orbit, even for a brief moment.

Sending love and strength to everyone who loved and cared for these remarkable humans, especially their families. What a loss.

August was quite the rollercoaster 😵‍💫

Tears were shed.
Sad ones 😢
But also happy ones 🥲

Here’s to hoping September is gentler 🙏

I had the pleasure of singing one of my favorite cabaret songs at Broadway Sessions back in June, which was meaningful to me because it was the same song I sang at my very first Broadway Sessions when I had just graduated and moved back to NYC (many) years ago.

I really love this song, and have sang it at multiple occasions through the years and will probably continue to do so. (Or at least until I find that “chump” 😉)
