What a privilege it is to be tired just by living your dreams. I’m going to miss this senior group and team so much, but I know they’re going to do great things in life and their story is just beginning. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your lives and continuing to lay the foundation for Yankton Wrestling. I am so proud to represent Yankton Wrestling. Year 2 of Yankton HS wrestling is complete and I’ve had some time to reflect and think about the last couple seasons. I’ve learned that coaching has given me a completely different perspective and appreciation for the sport of wrestling compared to when I wrestled. Wrestling is full of highs and lows, but I am grateful to be someone who could make a difference in these student athletes’ lives. I hope that I’ve taught these kids half as much as they have taught me. Thank you to the seniors who have laid the foundation for other Yankton Bucks and Gazelles’ wrestlers to build off of and continue to grow the sport in Yankton. I am grateful to be apart of it and can’t wait for the future. #GoBucks&Gazelles taken in Yankton, South Dakota by @robertcoyleiii

I’ve been trying to come up with the right words to describe how I feel. Wrestling has given me so much more than just the sport itself. Through that, I have met some of the greatest people and built relationships I will cherish for the rest of my life. I am so thankful for my family, my friends, teammates, coaches, and everyone else who believed in me for the last 15 years. I hope to give back to the sport that changed my life forever.

I will never forget wrestling with my Dad in the living room for the first time and telling him I wanted to be just like him. I know he’s watching from up above and is proud of everything I have been able to accomplish.

I’ve learned that not every day is promised, so I am thankful for the opportunity to compete as long as I did. Thank you Northern, thank you Rocky, and thank you wrestling. taken in Northern State University by @robertcoyleiii
