And just like that, the curtains have closed. 🎭

What an experience.

Big shoutout to everyone who made this production what it was. Every single person who worked, rehearsed, adjusted, improvised, solved problems, and showed up until this beautiful thing came alive, THANK YOU.

Producer, @faith_akinola thank you for bringing this vision to life and for trusting us with it. The songs, the script, exceptionally brilliant!

Director, @amaraonoh_ thank you for your direction, patience, precision, and the work you put into bringing every character and every scene together.

And then, there was the privilege of sharing the stage with some legends!

@k8henshaw @tinamba1 @chukwukajude

Watching, learning from, and performing alongside actors of such depth and experience was a privilege I do not take for granted.🫡

To @oluchi_odii , our lead, thank you for carrying the heart of this story with such commitment. You too sabi this thing!🫡

To every member of the cast including our dancers! thank you for making the entire experience such a memorable one. My other sisters in the action film @chiamakaobi_ my tormentor and @iamjoxie_jeb the overdo 🙄🫡

Meanwhile, I had two very different assignments in this production.

On one hand, I was the grammatically correct uncle, armed with impeccable diction and an apparently unnecessary commitment to proper English.

On the other hand, I became the masked singer, leading a congregation of gossipers!

But beyond the characters, this was an opportunity to create, learn, stretch, laugh, and share a stage with people whose work I deeply respect. Can’t tag everyone.
Shout out to our music director genius @fomesings1 , producer extraordinaire @amadinihegie and Asst. Music Dir. @chikahills1 baddest!🫡
@ayo_aluko & @nneka_aa PM’s well done! 👏🏼

And to everyone who came out to watch, supported, shared, talked about it, laughed, and felt with us, thank you.

Theatre only truly happens when there is an audience to receive it.

What a cast.
What a crew.
What a production.

What a privilege.
The journey continues.
