Obrigada a todos que estiveram comigo na abertura de Another Self, Another Us - foi um presente dividir esse momento, fruto de três anos de pesquisa e do meu mestrado em Artes Visuais e Fotografia na Barry University, com cada um de vocês.

A exposição segue em cartaz até 27 de setembro, na Gato Gallery, Barry University. A exposição continua aberta a visitações, e teremos duas ativações ao longo da semana que vem: na quarta dia 23 haverá uma vivência com o grupo Práticas Performáticas e Experiência Clínica junto a uma conversa com o curador Josué Mattos, e no sábado dia 26 faremos uma conversa de encerramento, e uma performance com a presença da curadora da exposição Jennifer Inacio. Vou adorar encontra-los por lá!

Thank you to everyone who joined me for the opening of Another Self, Another Us — it was a gift to share this moment, the result of three years of research and my Master’s in Visual Arts and Photography at Barry University, with each of you.

The exhibition remains on view through September 27th at Gato Gallery, Barry University. The invitation to visit stands, and we’ll have two activations next week: on Wednesday the 23rd, an experiential session with the group Práticas Performáticas e Experiência Clínica alongside a conversation with curator Josué Mattos, and on Saturday the 26th, I’ll be closing out the exhibition with a conversation with curator Jennifer Inácio. I’d love to see you there!

Minha primeira exposição individual celebra a conclusão dos meus três anos de mestrado em Artes Visuais e Fotografia na Barry University.

Com curadoria de Jennifer Inacio, a exposição reúne obras que testemunham os diferentes encontros que aconteceram ao longo desse período. A pesquisa atravessa as muitas camadas que fazem parte da constituição humana e investiga como podemos construir espaços de confiança, cumplicidade, liberdade de expressão e crescimento mútuo, espaços que nos avivam e nos fortalecem dentro de nossas comunidades.

ANOTHER SELF, ANOTHER US

My first solo exhibition celebrates the completion of my three-year Master’s degree in Visual Arts and Photography at Barry University.

Curated by Jennifer Inacio, the exhibition brings together works that bear witness to the different encounters that took place throughout this period. The research moves through the many layers that are part of the human condition and explores how we can create spaces of trust, complicity, freedom of expression, and mutual growth, spaces that enliven and strengthen us within our communities.

Leva tempo para compreender a missão de uma obra no mundo.
Leva tempo para acessar suas camadas, e é na ação, no fazer, que o caminho começa a se revelar.

Sou profundamente grata pela tarde de ontem, no encerramento da exposição Under the Red Tent, na Camp Gallery, com curadoria de Aurora Molina.

Ontem, eu e Aurora fomos responsáveis por conduzir o fechamento de uma exposição construída com tanta profundidade, cuidado e significado pelo nosso coletivo, Red Thread Studio.

A Rosa dos Ventos foi ativada, uma obra criada em 2018 com minha grande amiga de infância Aline Gonet.
Ali algo se abriu.

Perceber essa ligação feminina como um dispositivo de reconexão, de fortalecimento, de passagem. Um espaço onde podemos dar passagem, ritualizar, sustentar umas às outras.

Foi a primeira vez que eu entrei na obra.
Antes, havia um desconforto, um limiar que eu não conseguia atravessar.
Ontem, atravessei.

E dentro, senti algo muito profundo.

Outras mulheres também sentiram desejo de atravessar esse “cordão umbilical”, sustentadas pelo cuidado do grupo, pelo nosso cuidado. E, nesse gesto, puderam elaborar sensações, experiências… como se algo pudesse ser deixado para trás. Como se, ali, fosse possível ritualizar renascer dentro da própria vida. by @roberthablatt

A Final Gathering & First Stitch

This Sunday, April 26th, The CAMP Gallery and the Red Thread Art Studio are coming together for a final event celebrating the wonderful community space that, like the Red Tent itself, has been nourished as a feminine gathering of care and shared wisdom throughout the past two months.

Join us from 12–3pm for a closing performance by artists Robertha Haddad Blatt and Aurora Molina. These two artists will come together in a performative conversation inspired by the Compass Rose and encouraging us to find our direction through the sharing of wisdom with each other. The performance is both a farewell and a beginning. It is an invitation to bring forward new versions of ourselves, as we hope this space continues to grow and evolve in new ways, welcoming more women from all generations.

The Spring 2026 S.U.R.G.E. Review Week for its graduate and undergraduate students.

Partnering with @fiuart at @fiuinstagram the Department of Art + Art History presents this department-wide intensive dedicated to critique, exhibition, experimentation, and dialogue.

S.U.R.G.E. Week runs from April 13–17. During this week, regular class routines shift to create space for deeper creative engagement: students present work-in-progress, install exhibitions, receive sustained feedback, and participate in conversations that push ideas forward. This is not a break from the semester. It is an intensive moment of reflection, exchange, and creative momentum.

The program opened with an activation led by artist Robertha Haddad Blatt. This partnership will continue throughout the year with further interactions involving additional artists and curatorial perspectives.

Honored by the invitation from @the55project and FIU’s Department of Visual Arts @fiuart @christopherbarake to share Guri Guri, intuition in action.

This proposition is part of my research as an MFA student in Visual Arts and Photography at Barry University @barryuphoto @barryufinearts

Guri Guri is a relational device in which each element is calibrated to open a field of encounter, a space of trust and openness where the group can perceive itself, self-regulate, and discover what each participant carries within their own repertoire of gestures, impulses, and interests.

It unfolds through play, where spontaneity is valued as a force of aliveness. Throughout the session with the students, it was possible to feel this quality being gradually established in the relational dynamic. There is something deeply moving and powerful about living an experience like this with young art students.

A proposta se desdobra em jogo, onde a espontaneidade é valorizada como força de avivamento. Ao longo das sessões com os alunos, foi muito potente sentir essa qualidade sendo instaurada na dinâmica relacional. Há algo de muito bonito e forte em viver uma experiência assim com jovens estudantes de arte.
