Tradin' hot + hectic for cute + colonial

After quite a bit of subtle teasing, I am happy to share that I am *officially* committing to Otterbein University to pursue a BFA in Acting. It's been a wild ride.

I'd like to thank the incomparable @jenniferheath for helping me through this process and taking me to the auditions. I also want to thank @theblakewalton, @thejpope, and @mmccord20 for being excellent artistic mentors.

Lastly, I want to shout out @maddie_grace_165! You are the best and I cannot wait to start this next chapter with you! Go Cards!

So proud of this entire cast for their incredibly hard work in The Common Ground and especially proud of @arlucas2002 and my dear friend @madelineholdway for writing such a poignant piece of theatre that is thought-provoking and connects with its audience members.

Thank you very much for @theblakewalton for being such a great mentor to me this past year and for always trusting me and giving me wonderful opportunities where I learn.

Special thanks to Dorian Boyd and Chris McVicker for their patience this week as I learnt how to call cues and making me feel so welcome.

I could not have asked for a better last show before I leave for Otterbein. Thank you all so much.

Thanks to @mmccord20 for this amazing opportunity and unending support.

Thank you to my class and my friends for your love and encouragement during the show.

Lastly, I'm so happy that my Reno was my best friend and I cannot wait to spend four more years together.

My love goes out to all the underclassmen and to those who came to the show.

"What I Like About Jazz..."

Couldn’t get a video of the actual performance but here's an excerpt from a rehearsal.

The project evolved to become a tribute to my mentors in dance, @thejpope and @mmccord20. These brilliant teachers have taught me so much and I truly would not have been able to pursue my artistry without their help. The piece is also a love letter to the genius known as the late Bob Fosse.

And thank you to @raye for making one of the best songs of the past year. by @robertjheath

“For the wretched of the Earth, there is a flame that never dies. Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise.”

Les Misérables has been one of my favourite shows for a long time and so when it was announced as part of this year's season I leapt at the opportunity to participate.

I want to thank the cast for being so kind, funny, and hard-working. I loved how we all worked as an ensemble, we were all equals, and we became the most magical machine onstage. Love you all. Shout-out to the kids for being so sweet and adorable, especially @minna_montagna_. The Grantaire and Gavroche duo will be unmatched (R.I.P. the both of them)

Special thanks to @bxfinn, @iamjasonellis, @dlwhite81, and the entire creative team. Playing Grantaire has been such a dream as an actor. There's been so much to explore and play with over the course of this process and I'm so happy that I got the chance to play this fascinating character. I'm also very grateful to be gifted the slay-gacy robe which was such a wonderful surprise and hit me very much in the heart ❤️

Speaking of the show, what makes Les Mis inherently important is that our current world is full of injustice and oppression. If we do not fight back, nothing is going to change. And so to perform a show that is a call to action against the regime and playing one of the brave rebels made me feel very proud of our show every night. I dedicated each show to those facing unfairness and discrimination right now. You are all wonderful humans. I love you and the Earth will be free.
