A study from a Carmel Beach trip a couple weeks ago

I didn’t think I’d get this done in time 😅
I had about an hour or less into this as the sun was setting.
I usually don’t wait until the last hour of light to paint something but I took a chance and got it turned around.

It’s little moments like this where I learn to challenge myself and put the ego aside and not get discouraged if it doesn’t turn out. All that’s going on in my head is… this is gonna turn out great, and if I mess up I learned what not to do and I get this beautiful view as a reward.

Wishing all Dads a Happy Fathers Day ❤️

I surprised my dad with a painting of his cat that went missing a few months ago that he rescued as a kitten. It was pretty much his emotional support animal that kept him motivated each day. When his cat went missing he wasn’t eating or doing the things he loved as much.

Thank you for showing me all that you know and healing an entire generation by showing us what true strength is.

I think he looked surprised, what do you think? 🙂

I’ve been fortunate to work on some big projects in 2024 and looking to do a lot more. 2024 taught me to work hard but to appreciate the small moments where life doesn’t need to be taken so seriously. 2024 taught me to be more present around those that want what’s best for you, even if at first it doesn’t seem that way. Thankful to be around people who give me energy and laughter when I feel like I have nothing left in the tank. Watching them thrive reminds what I can pull off and where I need to apply myself authentically. I’m ready for more experiences that push me past my limits and fill my life with joy and fulfillment 🫡

A self portrait to say 👋 to 2023 and 👋 to 2024 and new beginnings.

Thank you to all that have been there to support me and watch me grow as an artist / creative. It helps more than you know.

I haven’t posted much this year but I’ve been doing a lot of work off camera to build my skills. So I’ll have more work to show.

Anyone have any goals / plans for 2024? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Tried knocking this out in a night, but instead took 3
4-5 hour sessions. I had to start over on the first draft, so that set me back a bit 😅
