One afternoon with Robert: An interesting guy—always pleasantly lurking in every artsy aesthetic corner of New York, being 100% himself.  I recently ran into Robert at Madison Square park and where we caught up on a bench for a few minutes downloading well-below surface topics as strong personalities tend to do.    In an attempt to capture more creative people and artists floating around my social periphery, he lets me come by and spend an afternoon at his current stay in SoHo. Lately I have this huge need to absorb all I can from professional creatives in their field. Rob, being a creative consultant in Interior design and art curation—I wanted to see how he works with clients, how he pitches, creates and where it starts for him, what inspires his outlet, and frankly—what he does all day?! Rob has a polished way of presenting himself, which can be a bit intimidating at first. (Obviously the guy is handsome with a fantastic jaw-line and furry furrowed brow) But it’s kind of fun to see him be a bit messy. His vibe on the surface seems really polished and curated, like every casual photo op could be an editorial spread in Vogue. Always plotting and scheming his next creative design venture he took me through his day-to-day Rob life—from what’s in his closet to his take on New York social faux-pas! Trying on different looks and chatting in a loft with an espresso is totally how I imagine the daily Rob existence. Always down for any type of creative project, he gives F*CK YES energy right out the gate.  The energy is so magnetic—internally I’m thinking, “YES, NEED, MORE.” Definitely enjoyed capturing this lovely dude in his element and bringing out what I hope was a real and honest take on his energy and personality.      ~PART OF A PROFILE SERIES w yours truly• taken in New York, New York by @robertmarlow
