“I love how the surfaces change as the light changes, how the poems emerge and disappear- literally ghost voices, poetry that seems to suspend in the air, to hang in the ether” - Robert Montgomery

“The works aren’t fixed, they settle into a space and become part of it, they move from being objects to something more like a presence felt within the room” - Angus Buchanan

Daydream Ghosts is a Buchanan Studio Artist Edition with Robert Montgomery.
Works are individually numbered, limited to 15 of each and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Enquire via Buchanan Studio to reserve.

I am founding BIRD ART STUDIOS. It has two missions- to provide affordable studio space for artists in London, and to provide weekend art classes and music therapy sessions for children with autism and learning disabilities and their families. The first professional artist studio spaces will be available soon. Please DM me if you are interested. We have a beautiful classic large London warehouse space with huge skylights that drench the spaces in north light. They are perfect painting studios and I am looking for serious artists to join me. We are a 10 minute walk from Wandworth Town overground and a 15 minute stroll from East Putney tube. Please DM me to register interest. With love, Robert x by @robertmontgomerystudio

Daydream Ghosts - A Buchanan Studio Artist Edition. Arrives tomorrow.

Robert Montgomery takes poetry into physical form. Onto billboards, into fire, and now - in collaboration with Buchanan Studio- into furniture. Brass pressed into steel.

Daydream Ghosts sits at the intersection of design and art-it is both sculpture and furniture at the same time.

Available to view at @studioiron_ in the Brompton Design District from 12-20 September, as part of @l_d_f_official - and available to reserve from tomorrow via Buchanan Studio. by @robertmontgomerystudio

We’re not sure what print to edition next for the new print store, so we’re going to post an image from the archive every day or so, and in chronological order. This is the second ever billboard poem from 2004. It was installed at night over an advertising billboard in East London and was the second work in the series, ‘Words in the City at Night’.

Those images from the archive that get the most comments or interest, we’ll look to make print editions of those. You can see what prints we have editioned so far on the link in bio or over at WWW.ROBERTMONTGOMERY.ORG
