Pre-ordered a Bistecca Fiorentina (smaller model) for a reservation at La Ciottolona, Bocchegiano. Everything was super. The steak was 3 months aged , super dark red, tender and naturally very flavorful. taken in La Ciottolona by @robertnantista

We got to witness The 1000 Miglia, often referred to as “the most beautiful race in the world,” took place from June 11 to 15, 2024.

This legendary vintage car race, only features models that participated between 1927 and 1957, following a unique route through Italy, starting and ending in Brescia.

The event featured over 400 classic cars from prestigious brands like Alfa Romeo, Porsche, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, and Bugatti. The 1000 Miglia is not just a race but an adventure, offering a unique opportunity to experience Italy’s rich cultural and scenic beauty.

The 2024 edition of the 1000 Miglia includes a stop in Castiglione della Pescaia for lunch, a picturesque medieval village situated in the Tuscan hills overlooking the sea. This stop provided an opportunity for participants to enjoy the beauty and charm of this coastal village before continuing their journey towards Rome and we were lucky enough to be there!
