EASTER WEEK – PRODUCTION POV

What an honor it is to serve the local church. This week, an army of incredible volunteers and seasoned pros came together and spent countless hours preparing our spaces for Easter weekend.

Starting with our main campus and the new layout, this has been months in the making. @brandondaughtry drew four different versions, and we partnered with our friends at @bandlsound to get the right people in the room to bring it to life. The goal was better viewing angles, a more versatile lighting layout, and moving IMAG screens out of the way to improve sightlines so we weren’t shooting into IMAG on every shot by accident, while maximizing what we already have. We didn’t purchase a single piece of gear for this install, aside from a few rigging parts. We faced some challenges along the way, but it all came together really well.

After rehearsal night, it was time to shift gears to our Royse City campus, which launched last week in a portable model. Another group of volunteers showed up ready to unload the truck and set up our portable system for three Easter services at the local high school. It’s been amazing to see @jesuscasilla_ and his volunteer team grow so quickly. Some of these volunteers stepped into key roles for the first time this weekend and absolutely crushed it. We truly couldn’t do ministry without them.

This week and weekend came with their share of technical challenges. Things that had been rock solid all year suddenly became issues during Easter week. The enemy tried to disrupt what was coming, but he didn’t win. Over 2,700 people indicated a first-time decision to follow Jesus, and that makes every bit of it worth it.

Huge shoutout to our campus producers who carried the weight of installs at their local campus and helped each other get ready for Easter. You guys are amazing.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve this church, this house, and to be led by great leaders so I can lead and serve my teams well.

Grateful for @mattygram82 , @jordanlloyd , @josefiorentino and our entire leadership team for trusting us with this mission across all campuses and beyond.

Our weekly production meeting looked a little different this week.

We had the opportunity to walk the construction site of our new RC campus as an all-campus production team, praying over the RC staff, for the people of Royse City and thanking and praising God for what He is about to do in this community.

Buildings are exciting and important but we all know the church is not a building! So here’s my plug!

Weekly services start the last week of March 2026 at the high school across the street. Come worship with us even before we get a building!!!

Huge thanks to the one and only @chuchobarciaa_ for capturing this visit. taken in Lakepointe Church by @robertobautistaf

• RC recap part one •

First deployment of our portable campus for our Royse City Preview service at the high school.

This system will allow us to step into very special opportunities to bring the gospel and worship times to communities where don’t have a building to meet but have disciples to make!

Thank you @skylarkav for building this masterpiece piece on wheels for us! One thing I love about this team is that they’ll flight out to whatever location and provide great support the first few times we use a new system to make sure things go great, to train and equip us with all the tools we need to keep things running after they’re gone. Great hangs and above all great tech guys that love Jesus and are all in the mission of spreading the gospel!!

Huge thanks to all the volunteers that make this happen and to @lpconnect team that coordinates all the little details and show up ready to put in the hard work to make these services happen!
@thegregbradford @normanflowers @trentworsham @kikeduenas @brandondaughtry @jesuscasilla_ @rondillow and many other I’m forgetting at the moment.
