turned 31 this past month & if there’s anything I learned this past july it’s that

-it’s never a bad thing to start over (& it’s okay to miss what once was)
-it’s never too late to work on yourself (i finally was diagnosed with adhd)
-and most of all it’s never worth eating healthy (99% sure I got cyclospora from lettuce during my first week off as an attending)🫶 taken in Chicago, Illinois by @robertvargas___

end of the rash era 🫶

in honor of starting back next week as a hospitalist I wanted to shoutout the most amazing chief year ever!!! working with such amazing cochiefs was an honor amidst all the crazy resident shenanigans, thousands of emails and of course the roaches in abd. being Dr. Gamino’s first group of chiefs will be a core memory & I was so lucky to work with the most amazing team on 10K. I will miss sharing our college frat house/office with these people but they will be the most amazing GI, pulm crit & cardiology fellows ever & hope we left our mark this year (my fave memory was surviving intern retreat after a bender ending with ice ahots at feds the night before lol)!! thank you rush for letting me be join the chief legacy & no one never email me the words “wellness days” or “shift swap” ever again!!!!! lol 🩺🥼 taken in Rush University Medical Center by @robertvargas___
