2025 was blessed off the banks

5lbs 7oz - 2/24
8lbs 8oz - 3/31
6lbs even - 4/14
8lbs 15oz - 5/25
8lbs even - 9/25

36lb bag for the year

Spent a lot of time learning and getting more comfortable with larger baits. Yielding in a higher caliber catch record this year, Weeding out dinks and making a 4lber average.

Thank you to the connections and friendships made, that has helped grow my knowledge and experience as a Bass Angler.

Excited to continue to learn , grow, and get on the water this coming year.

Rocked the scale around 9lbs

Had a good time at the Geecrack meet up.

Entered their friendly tournament and decided to hit it from the bank, even though I had brought my paddle board.

Threw out the 5.8 Bellows gill into a submerged grass point.
Thought about Marshall's advice and proceeded to get on my phone sending my buddy a Pic of a dink I had just caught.
Went to reel bump and felt the slight weight, thinking I was stuck in grass, went ahead and swung to rip it free, there she was.

Was hoping for a big fish banger on the @raw_baits mini for #chompongills but at least were on the list.

This August has been a busy one. Not as much time to fish as I wanted.

Til next time @badnewsbass

Thanks for the fish report!
People in Japan are catching big fish using the "cynical" technique, so keep giving it a try!
Nice fish!
