Twenty five years ago, Ronald “Ron” Fazio, Sr. held a door open for others on September 11. Today, we are asking you to think about who held the door for you.

A family member who kept checking in.

On September 11, 2001, Ronald “Ron” Fazio, Sr. was last seen holding the door open for others so they could make their way to safety.

That act became the inspiration behind Hold the Door For Others, and still guides our mission today:

Who showed up for you when you needed it most?

the door open for them.
