Before the big day, Leah wrote me something, and I wanted to share part of it with you.

Getting married isn’t just about saying the “I do’s” or having the jol. It’s about intention. It’s about creating a home with someone you love and choosing to show up for that home and that person every day. And when the person you love feels like home, it’s the best feeling in the world.

“If you’re lucky, there are two occasions in your life when everyone you love shows up. Usually you’re only alive for one of them.”

There’s something quite overwhelming about looking around and seeing all your favourite people in one place. It’s surreal, dream-like, and you’re crying because love is in the air and everything in the world (because this is the whole world) is right and beautiful and true. And then there’s you by my side. My home.

Thank you @the_woods_photography for the sneak peeks 👀 our home is about to be covered in these. taken in Umtamvuna River Lodge by @robforbesdj

It's been 5000km now with my new @jacmotorssa T9 😍 and I've still got that new car smell! Loving every time I get to take her out on the road 🥹🫶 7.8l/100 on the open road. About 8.2 in town, which is honestly great considering the amount of Midrand traffic I get to sit in every day. Luckily sitting in that now is just endlessley more fun. Shoutout all the banging tunes keeping me company! 💃💃

Big road presence, small appetite. ⛽️

You’d expect a high-performance vehicle like the JAC T9 to live at the fuel pump, but it’s out here pulling numbers that genuinely surprise me with every tank.

It’s an absolute beast on the road and off-road too, but it’s gentler on the wallet at the garage. It turns out you can have the bold bakkie lifestyle without the heavy fuel bill. 🛻🤩❤️
