2025 was a quite a year.

Spent over half of it hanging out with this nugget, who was a long time coming and worth every hurdle. It forced me to slow down and enjoy the quiet moments. And there’s no one in the world I’d rather do it with than @alliecine, who is an amazing mom and partner in everything.

2025 is the year I pivoted away from indie films/shows and into songwriting and scoring animated kids content, a place I’d very much like to live in from now on. 16 year old guitar playing me just wanted to make a living writing music and being a rockstar - scoring films over the last 20 years has accomplished that (well, the first part), but I’ve missed the guitar and songwriting, so 2026 is about going all in.

Spending 2025 writing & recording songs with @jeananngarrish as @therandomaccidentals has been a huge highlight - we’ve got one final song coming to round out our “song a month for a year” project, I’ve enjoyed every second of it.

The word I keep coming back to for 2026 is “Transform.” It’s going to be hard to top 2025, but I’m definitely aiming to try. by @robgokee
