Quality time with my siblings. A few years since we’ve all been together. Three of us share a September birthday, which made the visit all the more special. It’s times like these. by @robhallstrom

My big brother, Gregory, passed away this past week, just shy of his 73th birthday.

I remember him as one of the most loving and kind-hearted persons I’ve ever known. Also the strongest and courageous, having to overcome a life-altering brain injury at only 19 years old, which also left him partially paralyzed. Through the years, he showed such incredible resilience and determination and always kept a positive outlook, often saying “God isn’t finished with me yet”.

Greg never lost his zeal for life and passion for the things he loved - his family, bowling, playing games, and watching movies and his favorite TV shows. If you knew Greg, you also knew he possessed a cheerful spirit, enjoyed a good joke and had a deep contagious laugh, which always brought a smile.

I had the great honor of calling Greg my big brother. The one who taught me more about life than he or I ever realized.

“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.… I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far” - Philippians 1:21, 23 by @robhallstrom

Ringin’ in the New Year like… Thanks to @wishuwerehair for the awesome pics and video! And showing how rusty I’ve become after only taking her out to occasional C&C meets the past few years. It’s been long since overdue. Can’t wait to see his final cuts! Happy New Year!

Nothing like a nice morning trail hike to reflect on the blessings of the past year and those to come. Happy New Year!
