Mom brag moment. Yesterday, my 13 year old released a video game on Itch.io He used RPGMaker to create the entire thing himself. He designed all the characters. Made all the art. Wrote and recorded voice acting and original music. He animated cut scenes! I made cupcakes to celebrate. And this is all I’m allowed to share (and not the character cupcake toppers) because, and I quote, “I don’t know if I want people to know you’re my mom.” Just in case anyone needed to know, my teenager is INFINITELY cooler than me. And he knows it! He did thank me for the cupcakes. by @robin.leann2018

This summer was FULL.

The lowest lows
Somehow simultaneously
I have never been happier/sadder/more terrified/more courageous/more lost/more at home/more fully myself
I struggled the most this year
I failed and flailed the most this year
I succeeded the most this year
I learned the most this year
It was a very full year of so much life
And love, love, love
