Today’s shot was unbelievably precarious but turned out so beautiful with the help of @superhella.omg @leilashmeila @crystalazua @ccamarena. I can’t wait to see this printed out and in its frame. I’m having an art show on Aug 19th at @thegallery_916 with a few other fabulous photographers, put it in your calendar and come dance. by @robin2.8

This is the second photo in the Alice series titled “In Transition”. Here we see Alice has chosen to look within, so down into the rabbit hole she goes. This image was a lot of fun trying to figure out how to configure it all into one photo.

This is not a composited photo, this is one photo, captured on a @fujifilmx_us GFX 50sii w/a 11mm TTArtisan fisheye lens, lit with @nanlite_global tubes, & @profoto B10’s. And may have been the most ridiculous c-stand set up I have ever done. The orange around the left hand side and bottom right was accomplished by taping plastic to the side of the lens, putting a fan on the plastic for movement & lighting it with a Nanlite. The depth of the hole was created with a lot of atmosphere spray, a smoke ninja from @pmi_gear , Nanlites, and a black drop cloth.

I’m excited to announce that the pieces that were up at the @enochs.nyc show have been moved to @thecallingbell for the next couple of weeks. Thank you so much to @__dancewiththedevil for making this happen! I would like to find another gallery in NY to move them to after this as well. So if anyone has any recs/leads please let me know! I would like to keep my pieces floating around a bit before shipping them back. by @robin2.8

So excited to be part of this show at @breagallery w/ @thinkspace_art “A Look To the Future America at 350” This is the piece that was accepted “The Last of the Americans” It was the first thing I pictured when I read the title of this show. I had very limited time to do it before the submission so I am so grateful to those that helped me make it happen! And so excited that it was added to the show. If you’re in the area you don’t want to miss this one!

I can’t believe Black Sails came out 27 years ago today. Here’s some photos of AFI from last month at @aceofspadessac I’ve been going to this bands shows for almost 30 years, wild. by @robin2.8

New art! “Don’t Call” It’s been over a year since I’ve done anything this extravagant. It felt really good to get in there with this team and make it happen. I love how it came out. Thank you to everyone that helped make this come to life!
