So excited to be a Star Seller for a second month. I just had my best month yet on Etsy and I'm so grateful to everyone who's visited my shop. Being a Star Seller means you can purchase from my Etsy shop knowing I have a record of providing an excellent customer experience. https://etsy.me/2YpFh0k #EtsyStarSeller by @robincabanadesigns

What are some ways you fight off burnout? You know - that blah feeling you just can't shake that keeps you from getting things done. For me, I like to schedule a little fun in my day. Yes, I actually put it on a calendar.

Some things funtivities for me include wriring in my journal; creative projects like this painting I created at a paint party; nurturing my succulent garden; puzzles; taking Penny for walks; coloring; and reading books that help focus and figure things out like Essentialism.

Read more about how you can fight creative burnout on my blog. Link in bio.

So I might just love Frozen 2 more than the origina. Anna's sad, but powerful song "The Next Right Thing" is one of my favorite songs from the movie. Whether you're feeling down, lost or stressed in life, at work or anything, take a deep breath, then take one small step. And then another. Just like Anna.

"The Next Right Thing" is a gorgeous song. And Kristen Bell kills on it. Elsa's songs get so much of the attention, but this one deserves a good listen. Taking small steps is something I've been working really hard at in my business and dealing with anxiety. This is gong to be a new mantra for me when I'm feeling overwhelmed.

I'm really excited to share some creative artists and businesses with you! This week meet Marianna and Sabrina, the Chakra Chix! @chakra_chix

Ever wonder what it's like to start a business with your best friend? This pair (who also happen to be dear friends of mine!) launched their business earlier in 2021 to celebrate and share their love of healing crystals. With their eye and intuition for beautiful pieces, they have grown a community of crystal lovers who show up at their live sales on Instagram. (You will probably see me there, adding more pieces to my collection.)

The Chakra Chix say "Our vision is to provide a platform of positivity and enlightenment to our followers, not only through social media but a website with information we wish we had access to when starting out on our journey. We want to send out a bit of love and light to the world during such hard times for so many. Purchasing and sharing our crystal collections with one another has brought us together with a hobby that turned into an adventure of love and hopefully success."

Want to learn more about healing crystals? Visit their website: http://chakrachix.com/ and show some love for this women-owned business by following them on Insta and Facebook.

Does this sound like you?

You spend a lot of time staring at blank screens or pages and the ideas just don’t come.
Instead of working on your project, you’re finally getting around to cleaning out your closet.
You feel like blah. All. The. Time.
If these sound familiar, you might be experiencing burnout.

When you’re a creative – whether you design graphics, make handmade goods, or run an online business – your endeavors can suck up all your energy and you forget why this thing you do was fun once upon a time.

In my latest blog post, I'm sharing four ways I've dealt with burnout and maybe it can help you too! Link to blog in bio. 😀
