Happy New Year everyone 🎇
I don’t usually share my personal thoughts on social media, but this year feels right.
Before diving into 2026, I wanted to take a moment to share a few words.
First, thank you. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey over the past years: my family, friends, the team, the riders, visitors, those who supported, helped, shared moments… or simply were part of the adventure. It all meant so much.
The past few months marked the end of a big chapter: as you know, Exo 73’s cable park has been sold and will be dismantled. It’s not so much the sale that hurts, but seeing this spot disappear. Decisions like this are often driven by factors beyond sport and passion. Sometimes it’s out of our hands, and we have to keep moving forward.
Looking back, I choose to focus on the positive: the experiences, the people I met, the intense seasons, the highs and the lows, and everything this adventure taught me: personally and professionally. A huge thank you to Exo, where I worked with all my heart for 10 years, for the trust, the responsibilities, and the opportunity to live it all. These years will always be a key chapter of my life, and I’ll remember only the best.
For me, a new chapter is already beginning. Many of you know, I’ve fallen in love with a country: the Philippines. What struck me most here are the people: their smiles, their simplicity, their way of enjoying every moment. Life moves at a different pace here, and I want to fully embrace it.
In the coming months, I’ll be moving there. A new adventure, a new rhythm, a new way of working and a new way of living and building the future.
But… there might still be a little stopover in France for one last short summer, to wrap up in style another season of a job that’s more than a passion, at another cable park not too far from Savoie (can’t work to far for where everything beginning, right).
I close this chapter of my life at Exo 73 with a lot of emotion, but I’m so excited to see what the next chapter of my life holds 🇵🇭

Loïc Deschaux a récemment décroché l’or du câble aux Jeux Mondiaux en wakeboard. Cette victoire vient couronner une saison 2025 exceptionnelle (Champion de France, Vice-Champion d’Europe et Champion du Monde), après deux années marquées par des blessures.
