After six months of treatment (including chemo, meds and surgery), my medical team declared me "cancer free." They say I had a "complete response" to the treatment! I still have some stay-away-cancer infusions and physical therapy for a few more months, but I'm feeling great overall. Best birthday present ever 🙂

Six years after surviving a plane crash that left him with a #TraumaticBrainInjury (#TBI) and multiple other injuries, Luke Armstrong is moving forward with a career, a growing family and a deep sense of gratitude for the many people who helped him along the way.

A new story by Joe Southern of The Eagle (@thebcseagle), published in the @startelegram, shares Luke’s remarkable recovery journey, including the outpatient rehabilitation and vision therapy he received from (client) @centreforneuroskills.

As Luke reflected on the anniversary of the crash, he credited the first responders, medical teams and rehabilitation professionals who supported him throughout his recovery, including the therapy team at CNS.

Today, Luke says he has made a complete recovery and is focused on what’s ahead.

When (client) @savetheredwoods partnered with @theyuroktribe to open the ‘O Rew Redwoods Gateway, it marked the return of 125 acres of ancestral Yurok land and the creation of the first tribally owned and operated gateway to a U.S. national park.
