Since I've been gone, how have you been. Oh, wait I'll stop you there. Because I really don't care. Lets not play pretend. Did everything work out the way you wanted it to? Did everyone do what you wanted them to do? Did all of your wildest dreams come true? Did you get all of the attention that you were hoping to? Have you dodged all accountability of all of the rocks that you threw? Oh, lucky you! You must feel pretty cool, standing on the backs of everyone you knew. I hope you got what you wanted to. Gossip, slander and stories misconstrued. You really knew just what to do. Oh, look at you. You were hoping I'd lose. Now you just look confused. Your lies are looking more like loose truths. Your stories don't line up like they use to. Your mask slipped and now you just look screwed. I moved out of the picture for you to shine like you used to. You kept wanting dim mine. And to you I'm the Bad guy? I just don't understand why. I let you be you. I left you with the whole group. That's your crew. So why are you still so worried about what I do? I've been gone for awhile. Didn't all of your dreams come true, without me outshining you? Didn't you get all of the recognition that you wanted to? I mean it's wild how much I intimidate you. Years later and you're still inspired by everything that I do. Keep watching if you want to.

I tried to write about a woman's rage. I tried to get it all out onto one page. I tried to describe a scene with words that rhymed describing the misery of the unseen. But nobody wanted to believe me. I tried to make you understand shame. I tried telling you everything. But you didn't listen. You didn't read between the lines, only your own false judgments of what I have seen. I tried to lick my wounds that were inflicted upon me In front of the world, but all they wanted to do was say I was crazy. I tried to open your eyes after years of being blind sheep. But you were more interested in seeing me bleed. Now you stand in defeat. Now you see. Now you're forced to repeat. I tried telling everybody. I wrote a poem about it.

I tried telling you about a woman's rage. But you only cared about her real name.

Everyone thought that I had nothing to give. Nobody had high hopes for me to grow up and live. I have to fight for everything that I get. I've said it before, there's no rest for the wicked. Viewed as a stupid kid. But I was much more than this. I was different. I wasn't who they projected me to be. I wasn't going to be another statistic of society. I wasn't going to live by their rules. I had no intention on taking any abuse. I wasn't the person that everyone hoped I'd be. I was never going to lose myself over other people's opinions of me. They didn't want me to leave. They just didn't want me to succeed. They wanted prosper off of my energy. They wanted to say evil things. Lies, gossip and tearing me down behind the scenes. Yeah, I know it's hard to believe. But I'm not one to deceive. I'm telling you, all those things you heard of me, are just character slander recieved. I never wanted to be a part of that scene. They didn't want me on their team. And I was okay with walking. But why did they have to keep on talking? Making up things that weren't true. co signing on each other's fabrications and untruths. The Devil will use you, too. Falsehood and prevarication are evil tools. All while I was just trying to survive in a world that was set up for me to watch me die, then sit around and speculate about the whys. I stopped letting out cries. I went silent and I'll tell you why. I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of one of my salty tears. I wasn't going to share my fears, just so they could use it against me for years. I had no choice but to provide a safe place for myself and the child inside. Now the limb can break. I've learned from my mistakes. I can fly on my own. I don't need something to hold. I might be a hyper independent tom boy, but I'm not to be played with like some toy. You might not like the new me. The one who tells it like it should be. The one who removes herself from the wrong rooms quietly. The one who doesn't talk but sees. They underestimated me, seriously.

I've said it before, but for some reason I still didn't fully get it. Just because you've healed or done work on yourself doesn't mean the other person has. Or even if they have, it doesn't mean they're meant to be in your life. Just because the connection is a family member, long time friend, or ex lover, doesn't mean you're meant to travel this whole lifetime together. We know the saying "Seasonal friends" but we still tend to secretly hold on to the fantasy that we will one day be validated or valued properly by the same people who disrespected us to begin with. I know it's hard to believe that anyone would knowingly betray you, or hurt you on purpose. But sometimes we have to take our blinders off and admit to ourselves that we deserved better, it wasn't our fault, and see that they're not supposed to be in our lives any longer. The lesson isn't learned until you stop waiting for the return, the day they turn around, chase you down, admit their wrongs, beg for an apology and another chance. It seems silly. Ofc, we know that. Then why do we still do it?

Oh, you caught yourself repeating cycles? But you caught it a lot quicker this time, didn't cha?

But this time it felt different. This time it wasn't a surprise. Your disappointment felt more detached from your current reality than ever.

This time it felt like acceptance. All of the acceptance that I needed.

My biggest lesson in this season was allowing the healed version of my inner child to see clearly for herself that she was never to blame and it was okay to let go of the pain she held for other people for so many years. It was seeing that it was never a victim mentality that she had to let go of, but it was the people who victimized her that were not well intended that needed to be seen for who they actually were in her life. Not through the rose colored glasses where they looked like family and friends.

I talk about the release of guilt and shame a lot. I believe those two emotions are deeply rooted causes of depression and anxiety.

You don't have to...

Be a good girl in everyone's eyes
Participate in functions that you're not comfortable in
Have a ton of friends
Appease your family

What was my biggest lesson that I learned this season?

To stop waiting for the turn around.

My biggest most recent lesson in life is to understand that once I've gathered the information, the strength, and the courage to walk away, not to leave with the expectation that the other person is on the same path of self realization, healing, forgiveness or even has the willingness to look at themselves with a care of how they could have shown up better... I noticed that I was walking away but not exactly letting go. It wasn't a form of manipulation or control for me to walk away. I walked away because I got tired of being hurt over and over again. But I think there was a part of me that thought once I was gone it would leave room for them to have self reflection, take accountability, have remorse, or maybe even come back one day with an apology, or even better than that, changed behavior. And what I learned was that walking away was only the starting point of healing.

To be continued

I'm a runner. I'm running away, from my relationships with people who never wanted to stay. Try running away from the runners who taught you to be this way. I started running when I realized I was the prey. Try finding a safe place to lay. I'm a runner. I learned how to run before I could crawl. Not just from my parents, but I learned from them all. Backstabbers, snakes and rats. I run from all of that. I'm a runner this is true. But I learned not to stick around a motley crue. I learned to run from all of the fools. I don't mind running, but I'd like to slow down, too. I'm like the white rabbit in high heel shoes. 🐇👠🕛

Chick, you thought you could lie on my name, make me crash out and say mean things. You thought I was playin'. You thought you'd watch my ways, copy me and try to steal my fame. But everyone knows that you're just a copycat lame. You thought I was gonna save face. Chick, please, we can't even hang. I don't get caught up in other people's lanes. You thought you could stop my gain and prosper off my pain. Chick, please, I got recites with your name. You got all you're gonna get out of me with your petty games. You manipulative backstabber, pick~me Dame. You should already know, your low level energy ain't gonna mess up my day. I'll just alchemise all of that garbage away. You really thought I cared. You really thought I shared. You really thought you were gonna outshine me. Too bad chick, because I bet you're spending another night lonely, wishin' for the attention of someone who used to know the old me. ✌️ Haha Freak!

I'm going to tell you my secret to my own personal success. Since I was 21 years old, it's been staying by God's side. I don't drift far from him, so don't have to run back to him. He's only a snatch up away from me. Success is not about money, but about freedom and peace. Happiness is a different topic. Happiness is an inside job. But freedom and peace are the biggest components of success. I get into situations that I wasn't expecting, nor did I think I was calling in. But with growth comes more discernment. Discernment shows up with pattern recognition. Having the ability to listen to my intuition has always shown me where God is standing. When I act accordingly to my intuition, I am blessed with confirmation. Confirmation tells me that the protection has already been put into action to protect me from a set up, or failure. Failure to protect myself. Failure to consider my higher self, and highest timeline. Don't run away from God, then you won't have to run back to him. That's my secret. It's not keeping my crystals charged, it's not having someone to bail me out every time I mess up, it's not staying quiet so I don't rock any boats. It's knowing that everything is everything and God sees all, and knows all.

You can use all of the modalities in the world to heal your pain, but there's only one true source, and that's God.

There's my secret. Run with it.

Man, I just decided to be free. Be free of the pain and drama that people brought to me. Be free of the expectations of society. Be free of limited beliefs. Be free of people trying to plant negative seeds. Be free of the opinions that other's had of me. Man, I just decided to be free. I decided to look at things differently. I decided to call back my energy. I decided to not put up with just anything. I remembered who I'm supposed to be. I remembered that I'm the daughter of a celestial being. Better than queen. I stopped playing in the in-between. Man, I just decided to be free. No more heart strings. I'm more cerebral thinking. Man, I just decided to be free. So I stood up on my own two feet. It's not that deep. God never disappoints me. He owes me nothing. I'm protected by Jesus, my King. No matter how hard they try, they can't stop my anointing. They just keep talking. But Man, I just decided to be free, because misery always loves company.

How Boundaries Actually Feel by Robin Lee

They feel like standing in a store with a shirt in your hand thinking of buying it for your mother's birthday when you nor your children have heard from her in months.

They feel like seeing your dad's blocked number come in from time to time knowing it's only because he needs money from you or a free place to live.

They feel like trying to be nice to someone who you don't owe anything to just to be shit on by them.

They feel like you're building a wall to keep others out, only to realize you've also locked yourself in.

"Easily forgotten. Tossed to the side. A nickel in your pocket. A penny tails up and left behind. Reminders of it daily. Could have but didn't save me. Only found value in a dollar. Only only found value in power". Robin Lee Poetry snippet

Walking by faith is like walking blindfolded through Manhattan. Good luck, kid. Don't end up in the gutter.

2 Corinthians 5:7 – “We walk by faith and not by sight.” This means that we live according to the Word, not according to what we see, feel, think, or what other people tell us.
