“Misty,” my 1960 Hammond B-3 & Leslie 142. I fully restored this rig over a period of 18 months, with plenty of guidance from LA’s friendly neighborhood Hammond wizard, @bunny_butler. by @robmaile

Grateful for the opportunity to join the band for artist & music educator mister.Jarvis during NPR’s 2026 Tiny Desk Contest. ‘American Dream’ is a great song and poignant message. Abolish ICE. (special thanks to @ribbonmics R88 & @retrorentalsnet) by @robmaile

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

Throughout the recording process I had the opportunity to work with so many wonderful and talented musicians and engineers-the album truly wouldn’t have been possible without them.

Big thanks/shoutout to the production team at @sivrajstudios and the audio talents of @robmaile and @callme.jarvis

Thanks as well to the exquisite performances by @bunny_butler on organ, @jared.storz on cello, Cristin McIntire on violin, Dana Apolonio on viola, Vince Gonzalez on trumpet, Ryan Kieran on trombone, David Heyman on drums, and @briangrabin on double bass who made the record shine

Truly couldn’t have done it without all of you!

The words I have are innumerable and won’t do it justice…

Suffice to say this record has been a long time coming; 4+ years specifically.

When I started this I was in a pretty dark place in my life. Though some of it remains (as I’m sure it does for all of us to a degree) much has changed since then. This record is a testament to that.

I think more than anything this record (to me at least) is about hope. Hope in the power of tomorrow, today, and the ineffability of resiliency. My personal hope and aspiration is that it’ll help whoever may need to hear it, and inspire someone to keep going.

Though there’s a ton more I could say about this about this project, more than anything I want to say thank you…

To all the hands who helped shaped this album-thank you

To my family for their love and support these last few years while making this - thank you.

To all the friends who supported me in one form or another - thank you

To all the many people who gave this a listen and those yet to do so - thank you.

This is Growing up, Growing out.

“Growing Up, Growing Out” - LP by Saint Nick The Lesser is now streaming worldwide. I was fortunate enough to produce this record alongside the immensely talented @callme.jarvis. It was a pleasure working with a plethora of terrific session musicians to make the artist’s vision a reality. Much of this album delves into some difficult and important issues.

Pultec EQP-1A Passive Tube Equalizer - the venerable EQ beloved by audio engineers for decades. This is neither a modern reissue nor a vintage Pultec—the truth is somewhere in between. I hand-built this EQP-1A for my personal studio using a combination of vintage and modern components. Thanks to @analogvibes.gear for their detailed documentation & build guides. taken in Northridge, California by @robmaile
