Beyond stoked on how today went! To go from no plan of riding into coming 6th place in the @dirtwarsuk pro/ elite category with mediocre tricks compared to my usual repertoire definitely still getting used to the @norcobicycles.uk rampage which feels even more insane every lap I had on it and nursing my ankle after dislocated 5 weeks ago. Can’t beat riding those dirt waves! Keeping it super chill for my first session on the new @norcobicycles.uk Rampage while I still figure out what my ankle can and can’t do but beyond stoked on how it feels flowing through the trails. So after the poll the other day I can reveal that the new bike is in fact the @norcobicycles.uk rampage this thing looks absolutely incredible and I can’t wait to ride it once my ankle plays ball massive thankyou to @silverfishuk and @falmouthcycles for making this happen let’s make the rest of this year a banger filled affair. Robert Beard is a UK mountain bike rider, coach, and freeride athlete known for his stylish progression, big-air riding, and strong presence within the grassroots MTB scene. Riding everything from dirt jumps and slopestyle lines to freeride features and bike park sessions, Robert has become recognised for combining technical riding with an approachable attitude that helps inspire the next generation of riders.

As part of the Fireride Team, Robert works as a Pro Rider Coach, helping deliver riding sessions, live demonstrations, and MTB experiences across the UK festival and bike park scene. He has been involved in coaching and riding alongside some of the UK’s top freeride and slopestyle athletes, bringing energy both on and off the bike.

A regular rider at Phoenix Bike Park, Robert is known for constantly pushing progression on bigger jumps, technical transfers, and slopestyle-inspired lines. His riding style blends creativity and control, with a focus on progression, style, and having fun while riding with the community.

Through coaching, events, and social media, Robert continues to help grow the UK MTB scene by encouraging riders of all levels to progress and enjoy the sport. Whether he’s coaching at Fireride events, sessioning jumps at Phoenix, or filming new tricks with friends, Robert represents the modern grassroots side of mountain biking — driven by passion, progression, and community.
