Every week, I have the privilege of diving into meaningful conversations with remarkable humans.

These interviews are a window into their world, their insights, and the real-life moments that make them them.

This week, the first interview in TWIC of 2025, I decided to do something differently. Instead of featuring a single “Good Human,” I’ve turned the spotlight inward ... to my husband and our three kids.

Together, they lovingly (mostly) nicknamed me “KJ” for “Killjoy,” thanks to my special ability to make things like fireworks, birthday cakes, amusement parks, and french fries less fun (their words, not mine). But beyond the teasing, they’ve also experienced firsthand what Wellness Intelligence means in real life ... messy, dynamic, and never boring.

I asked each of them the same rapid-fire questions needing super short answers, knowing full well that the answers might be insightful and hilarious … mostly honest!

While I’ve had the honour of interviewing each of them individually in the past, this round offers a teeny peek into our family dynamic ... a little chaos, a lot of love, and a reflection of how Wellness Intelligence weaves through our home.

This is our real life. It’s messy, joyful, challenging, and uniquely ours. This is a teeny slice with regard to managing me and TWIC.

This week I get to share a little slice of Rob Storm through our interview ... my husband and partner in life since 1991 ... although we have known each other since grade 1. Today, beyond being my co-captain on this wild ride of life, dad extraordinaire, honest insurance guy, musician, sports and music enthusiast, team player and leader, he is also the one who proofreads, previews, and trials almost everything I create in TWIC (as a volunteer and also after being voluntold :), plus he has always done the financials for my marketing consultancy (that I would definitely not have ever gotten done without him). In his “free time” ... or shall I say, professionally, Rob holds a Masters of Business Administration and has worked for Epson (yes, the printers and projectors) since 2010 and in the industry since 1996. This interview will give you a little insight into how AWESOME and kind he is but cannot possibly convey how flexible and patient he is. If you know me, you will get that! :) He also knows how to live with a focus on “the joy factor”. If you know Rob, you’ve laughed with him, been cheered on by him, and received heartfelt hugs. It was really fun to interview Rob - we giggled a lot (especially over the napping expertise and some of the photos we included) ... and it turns out that we recognized again/still how much we appreciate each other for all that we share - and all that we do for each other.
