Guys this is an insane one for me! Never thought in a million years I'd have the opportunity to own something so cool (too me). As most of you know I've been a long time fan of Darth Vader as a character and the Star Wars trilogy, as well as the original line of Kenner figures. What i have before you is a Vintage Kenner Darth Vader figure mint on a ROTJ 65-A cardback! Apart of the first wave of figures released in 1983, in time for the release of Return of the Jedi. This example is insanely clean in my opinion. A few small wear creases here and there, but it's clean, no discoloration, no major damage to the card or bubble. Sure, a Star Wars 12A cardback example is high up there on my grail tier list, but i feel like one of those are so unattainable. I'm incredibly happy to be able to hold this example in my hands! Speaking of which, I need to find a proper display box for this as well. by @robthewild1

Yesterday we provided some of our homebrews for a private event at our friends house. We brainstormed and came up with a few brews we could brew up and bring to the shindig. We were excited and more than happy to accommodate and provide refreshments! We brought over our DIY serving cooler Josh fabricated out of a couple Rubbermade containers and some insulated spray foam. It was able to house all three of our 3 gallon kegs, about 25lbs of ice and our beer beerline perfectly. Surprisingly it worked extremely well, it keeps the brews nice n cold for 5 hours! We made our Czech Pilsner, Altbier and our American Stout. Everyone seemed to enjoy the brews! Unfortunately our Pilsner, is unfiltered, and on transit it kicked back up a lot of the yeast and hop debris back into suspension. It made the beer cloudy and changed the flavor profile drastically. Usually when serving Lagers at home, once they go into the Kegerator they stay put for the entire life cycle, so we've never worried about it. But thankfully the Altbier and Stout were absolutely perfect! Was also nice getting to chit chat with people about beer, each pour came with its own story or history lesson. All n all it was a great time! by @robthewild1

My Warmoth Jazzmaster has a new friend! Received the Paranormal Baritone Jazzmaster by Squier today! Super comfortable player. Super dark, fat sounding, and loud. Squier definitely out did themselves on this one. Tuned it to essentially DADGAD in A, and made some dreamy sounds with it so far. Can't wait to see what else we can do with it. Soon my speaker cab is getting an upgrade as well. Can't wait to hear what all this new shit sounds like on some good speakers. Got a pair of Celestian Vintage 30s waiting on stand by. Few more rig upgrades to come! by @robthewild1

Finally caught @americfootball live! Been a fan of them for many years. Never thought Id get to see them. Especially when I first heard LP1 they hadn't reunited yet. One of my drummers from an old band back in the day turned me on to them and I was instantly hooked. Such a good show. taken in First Avenue by @robthewild1

Huge shout out to my family, for my birthday, they helped me out with my latest rig upgrade! Never had a brand new amp before until today. They hooked me up with the Electro-harmonix MIG50! Mighty and powerful 50w tube amp. From what I hear, a reliable, easy to use, pedal platform with good amounts of volume and headroom. Absolutely cannot wait to plug 'er in! Thankful to have a family who believes in you and wants to help further your art/creativity! by @robthewild1

Well well well, lookie what at have here: So after a yet another failed attempt by Target to fulfill pre-order demands for the latest Star Wars Retro Collection set. I set off to my local Target, where low and behold I found them on the shelf, free for the taking! As I stood there I canceled my pre-order and picked up a couple for the MIB Collection and the Kenner Shelf (even though they are not true Kenner). This set includes our favorite leading lady, Princess Leia, with a new gang of Glub Shitos from Star Wars/A New Hope! First up we have Princess Leia Organa (Yavin), she sports her white flowy dress from the Award Ceremony at the end of the film with a medal to present to our heroes. Next is Captain Antilles, Captain of the Tantive IV, who we only saw for a minute as he was getting choked out by the dark lord of the Sith, Darth Vader, while attempting to escape with Princess Organa with the Death Star plans. We also have Wedge Antilles, is he related to Captain Antilles? Who knows. Wedge famously became one of Luke's trusty wingmen on the attack of the Death Star. CZ-3, a lonely droid seen waddling through Mos Eisley and the Jawas Sandcrawler. R4-M9, an astromech captured by the Empire during the assault on the Tantive IV. Lastly, Garindan, although said to be the name of the race of his people but Garindan was a spy working for the Empire who tipped the Sandtroopers off to attempt to stop our heroes at Docking Bay 94 in Mos Eisley! I honestly really like the addition of the new droids, and the Garindan spy! I feel like they did Leia dirty with her face sculpt. Just screams "basic girl doll" to me. I will say they made a vast improvement so far to the cardbacks! No longer sporting a distressed effect on the artwork, and the cardboard itself feels a lot more sturdy. Hopefully these won't bend and bow like their previous runs. If you're a collector, and you have your eyes on a Target Pre-Order. Just wait until it becomes available in store, you'll be so much happier. If this is a ploy to get introverts like us into the stores, why not sell it as a "In-Store Exclusive + Limited Availability!" Don't dangle a pre-order in our faces, and never fulfill it. by @robthewild1
