🔥 Ever feel like you’re working harder than ever… but still not really moving forward?

I know that feeling all too well. At one point, I thought I was winning — my personal training business was booked back-to-back, my schedule packed, money flowing in.

But the truth? I was just spinning my wheels.
Losing energy. Losing time. Losing myself.

That’s when I realized: success isn’t about grinding harder or collecting more contacts… it’s about building deeper connections — with yourself, with your goals, and with the right people around you.

That’s what I now help solopreneurs and side-hustlers do:
✅ Break free from the spin cycle of burnout
✅ Reclaim their energy & time
✅ Build momentum that lasts

👉 If you’re ready to stop spinning and start winning, click the link to book a call and let’s talk about your next level.

Because the game of life isn’t won by running faster. It’s won by building the right team — and becoming the person you’re meant to be. taken in Stamford, Connecticut by @robtracz

What if the best training session you ever ran had zero PowerPoints, zero worksheets, and zero lectures?

Most workshops feel like a chore. People show up, sit through it, and forget everything by Monday. You can feel the energy drain out of the room the second someone opens a slide deck.

Toya & Doug did it differently. Started with journaling about old pastimes. Things people actually remembered and cared about.

Then we paired people up and had them act out scenes together. No script. No safety net. Just two people figuring it out in real time.

After that, we split into two groups and each group wrote a short story from a single sentence each.

Then we closed with a panel where people shared about their sources of creativity.

Here's the thing though. You can run a session like this once and people will love it. But one great session does not build a culture. The real question is what happens the week after. And the month after. Most gurus have no answer for that.

Reply with the word MOMENTUM and I’ll send you the exact framework we use to keep momentum going between sessions.

Huge shoutouts to Toya & Doug for putting together an incredible event to launch Toya’s 2nd Edition, Rising Above It.

She went into a plant medicine ceremony a week before the pandemic shut everything down.

And she came out of it ready to let the studios go.

Not because she had given up.

Because she had evolved past who she was when she built them.

She says the pandemic did not destroy her business. She had already grown into someone who needed to do something bigger.

That is a powerful way to own your story.

I used to walk into networking events thinking about how many sales I needed to make from that event.

I would walk away with nothing every time.

Then something shifted.

I stopped trying to close and started asking a simpler question.

Is this someone I would actually want to grab a sushi lunch with?

That one question changed the quality of every relationship I built from that point forward.

Most business owners think they unplugged last weekend. They didn’t.

Usually spend the weekend "resting" but Monday morning still feels like you got hit by a truck.

Scrolling, half-working, half-relaxing. Never actually switching off. So you start the week already behind.

I try to do things that fully occupy my attention.

Last weekend I was at birthday parties, trying new restaurants, and competing in a stein holding competition.

Pick activities that demand your presence. Schedule them like appointments. Leave the phone in your pocket, not in your hand.

Here's the thing though. Not every kind of busy weekend recharges you. Pack it wrong and you'll feel more drained than if you'd just stayed home.

Knowing the difference between recharging activities and draining ones is its own skill.

She opened a yoga studio and nobody came.

Not a soul at the launch event.

One person walked in a day or two later.

And instead of going back to spreadsheets and strategy decks, she made a different call.

She decided to build real relationships with every single person who walked through the door.

That shift is what brought her to consistent $10,000 months.

Rob’s six-principle system helps owner-operators who keep pushing and keep stalling. He hosts Surviving the Side Hustle and recently delivered a TEDx talk on momentum without burnout.

Together they explore what happens when you abandon yourself to keep everything running. Your energy drops. Your patience runs out. Your partner gets whatever is left.

Because how we do anything is how we do everything.

If your work is winning and your relationship is losing, this one is for you.

Yesterday was a great reminder that sometimes the biggest difference in a conversation isn’t having the right answer.

It’s having the courage to ask the right question.

I had the opportunity to attend Master the Ask in Stamford, an immersive workshop led by André Carvalho and Giovanny Ramirez focused on becoming better at the conversations that matter such as in sales, negotiations, business, and even our personal relationships.

One of the biggest themes of the day:

Stop feeling like you need to explain everything. Ask better questions. Listen. Get comfortable with the silence.

We worked through live exercises around leading with questions, transferring pressure in conversations, reading between the lines, handling objections, and learning not to treat the first “no” as the end of the conversation.

And I think that last part extends way beyond sales.

How often do we avoid asking for what we actually want because we’re afraid of hearing no?

The opportunity.
The introduction.
The sale.
The partnership.
The help.
The honest conversation.

Sometimes the only thing separating us from the outcome we want is being willing to make the ask.

Great workshop. Great people. And plenty to take back into both business and life.

Thanks to André, Gio, and everyone who made Master the Ask such a valuable experience.

Ever get to the point when you stop deciding whether to do the work and you just... do it?

Every day begins to repeat, same rhythm, same output.

From the outside it looks effortless. From the inside it feels like the only way you know how to be okay.

Here is the quiet problem with that. When your routines are doing the holding, you stop asking whether the foundation underneath them is solid.

You are measuring your health by your output. And that works, until something shifts that your routine cannot absorb. Then the whole system is suddenly asking a question you never had to answer before.

The shift is not adding more structure. It is getting honest about what your structure is actually built on.

Three moves that matter:

1. Name what your physical capacity is really doing for your identity, not just your schedule.

2. Separate the habit from the health of the thing the habit protects.

3. Build one leading indicator that tells you the floor is holding, not just that the output is still coming.

But here is what we keep running into. When you go looking at the foundation, you find things you cannot evaluate alone.

Not because you are not capable. Because you are too close.

The same clarity that built the system is the thing that makes it hard to see what the system is hiding.

Which is why we’re getting together to for the founding cohort of the Prime Sprint Program.
