“Me not working hard?
Yea right picture that with a Kodak
And better yet, go to Times Square
Take a picture of me with a Kodak”

A few years ago, I set off on a journey that shaped me into the man I am today. The goal: to run #45marathonsin45days from College Station to Las Vegas, over 1300 miles on my feet, to raise money via a Kickstarter campaign that would help fund a live music festival here in College Station.

I believe that Live Music unites us all and creates genuine connections that transcend race or status. That alone was enough reason for me to risk my life to complete this journey, and despite falling short of our financial goal and undergoing, I have continued to pursue my goal of launching a music festival here in Bryan College Station.

Author and filmmaker @stephenjoshea , alongside @_will.walker (another extraordinary filmmaker and entrepreneur), thank you for believing in telling my story.

Nearly 3 years ago due to a company wide layoff, I lost my job as the entertainment manager at BearX. This spiraled into me having to move out of my townhome and getting my Jeep, that was my first big boy ‘purchase’ repossessed. I was devastated but not broken.

As a kid my dad always took me to the horse racing track for the annual ’Concours d’Elegance’, a phenomenal car show in Nairobi Kenya. I fell in love with classic cars and knew I would eventually own a few.

The Model A as my friends will tell you has been my dream car. I am thankful for all the blessings in my life recently, especially the opportunities to work hard enough to save the money to BUY this car. Now no one car take this one away!
