Desire vs Destiny. We may need to change how we attract our lover and partner if we want them to align with our destiny. I was coaching a male client this weekend. His current lovership didn't workout. Why? Because he aspires to be in a real relationship based on mutual respect and collaboration.. yet is attracting his partners based solely on his desire to have sexual chemistry with his mate. Desire alone will not lead to a relationship. The attraction must be aligned with one's destiny to make it to the next level in the growth and expansion of the union. If the intention is a mutual desire to simply have sex, perhaps conscious love making with healing support.. that's very different than being attracted to a person rooted in your destiny.

Consider how much of the attraction you have with people is anchored in desire -verses- in the destiny of your mission and the shared collaboration of building a vision together.

"Can she hold his heart?" A man has emotions. A man has a tender heart. Most women don't have the skills to hold the man's heart in his most tender moments.. which ultimately pushes him away if he doesn't feel safe in her presence. So he stops offering his cup of love and generosity. Presence is a masculine quality so it's essential for women to practice holding space for herself and man to cultivate a deeply sacred space for the relationship to be healthy and harmonious.

The Tao of love is required here where Yin and Yang are in balance within the relationship container.

This conversation came after three girlfriends came to me with lovers whom had pulled away after they leaned in. 🙈🔥🩶

STORYTELLING: The mentor. 🧘🏽‍♂️ When I met my teacher, an Ajaan monk in Theravada Buddhism, I didn't know it would erase my identity. I didn't know how meditating for a decade on "nothingness" would actually mean, you become no thing. But it's true. It's not about releasing the ego. Buddhism is about dissolving the identity. But in Thailand .. later .. I found Taoism meant embodying it. Taoism means transmuting the nothing into the void .. not transcending it.
