-Acts 2:38 says, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit”.

-God can truly change you from the inside out if you repent of your sins and commit to a life directed by God.

-My life leading up to Christ was a life of confusion about who I was, a lot of pain caused by being a lost soul, and unhealed trauma from things that hadn’t even been brought to my attention because I hadn’t encountered the one true living God Jesus Christ.

-On the surface of what I portrayed myself to be to the world, people would never know that I was suffering from depression, anxiety and fear of never living up to my full potential. But if one looked deep enough, they would have been able to see a broken individual who had no idea where she fit in into this world. I tried everything to figure out who I was and I dove into the world headfirst to try to find myself. But the deeper I dove into the world, the farther away I got from myself and the purpose for my life that I was desperately seeking to find. The enemy made sure that I stood for nothing so that I could fall for anything!

-I finally came to the end of myself, and God was right there waiting for me with open arms, and I had nowhere else to go but to him. I came to true repentance after he radically encountered me and I have not been the same since in the best way possible. Knowing who I am in Christ has lifted any fear, depression, anxiety etc because I now know exactly who I am, a daughter of the most high God, and when you submit your life to him, he will make your path straight 🙌🏾

If anyone is reading this and can relate, I just want to tell you that true love, true peace, true purpose is only found in Christ because he’s the author of it all. 🫶🏽

This birthday hits different 🎉. A year ago I couldn’t have imagined the transformation that would come when I truly surrendered it all to Jesus. The peace, the blessings, the growth, the JOY, it’s all Him 🙌🏽.

Get to know your esthetician!
Hello everyone! My name is Robyn and I’m a 3 year licensed esthetician out of Southfield Michigan.
-
I graduated from Michigan College of Beauty in 2019 and after that I started freelancing as A makeup artist. I transitioned into body waxing in 2022 and I then opened up Blackcrown Esthetics in 2023 where I specialize in Brazilian and Body waxing, Brows, and Facials.
-
I take pride in making my clients feel welcomed and comfortable as I provide them with a clean and relaxing environment. My favorite sound is the sound of my clients enjoying a nap while I’m providing a service lol.

My favorite service to provide is body waxing because I find waxing to be oddly satisfying.

My favorite hobbies are Roller skating and cooking. My favorite drinks are Tea mixed with Lemonade or Lemonade by itself, and Kombucha. I enjoy tacos more than the average person 🌮. I have a German Shepherd named Brandi who I call my little boop a loop lol. God is truly amazing. 🙏🏾
