A clearing appears where the trees begin to thin, though the path there is anything but certain.

Among a new generation finding their way forward, Fonzy Saquido works within that uncertainty. The silhouette is structured through the body, then loosening as it falls, like something shaped by trial and persistence. Dark textures gather across the surface, echoing bark, shadow, and the complexity of growth that isn’t always visible at first glance.

Here, the woods don’t signal an end, but a threshold. A place where direction is still being decided, where every moment forward carries both doubt and intent. The look stands within that uncertainty, not as something lost, but as something forming.

A new generation of Filipino designers treats the body as both anchor and extension. Mar Semillano plays with structure against motion, pattern against air. The houndstooth holds its line, while feathered accents break it open, pushing the form upward and outward.

Light filters through the trees in fragments, never arriving all at once.

Among a new generation mapping their own directions, Ron Roxas, with print illustration by Rei Medua, turns the body into a moving canvas. The garment sweeps, as figures appear and dissolve, as if the story shifts depending on where you stand.

Set within a sparse forest by the sea, what emerges isn’t fixed but continuously forming, shaped by image and movement, figure and ground.
