LUCERTULAS × BOLOGNA VIOLENTA × NEWT × NADSAT × SONO ANCORA VIVO × TO DIE ON ICE × WINTER DUST × DIE ABETE

Punto.

📍Dalle 14, domenica 26/07 allo Spazio Ex/CDBC, Via Vecellio 82, Belluno.

🍉 Presenti: food & drink, distro e autoproduzioni e area skate.

Ahoy from Captain Mantell and the crew.

Today we're proud to release Human or Not, our seventh album.

A record born from the strange times we're living through, where humanity and artificial intelligence, certainty and confusion, inspiration and algorithms seem to collide every day.

These songs don't pretend to have the answers. They're our way of navigating the questions.

In a world increasingly unsure of what is real, what is human, and what comes next, we hope this album gives you something to think about.

Turn it up, dive in, and join the voyage.

Human or Not — out now.

The ship has left the harbor. Check the link in our bio to grab the LP, CD, or stream Human or Not wherever you listen to music.

MAKING NIGHT DAY:
light, illusion or revelation?
Captain Mantell explores the boundary between human vision and artificial interference.

MAKING NIGHT DAY is the second single taken from HUMAN OR NOT, the new album/experiment by Captain Mantell.
As with the first chapter of the project, the track is released in two versions — one human-made and one reinterpreted through artificial intelligence — creating a direct dialogue between perception and transformation.
Blending rock suggestions with suspended atmospheres, MAKING NIGHT DAY unfolds as a visionary experience: a light breaking into the dark, altering reality and questioning what is real and what is not.

Is AI killing music?
Let’s find out.

Two versions.
Same track.
One is human.
One is not.

MIRACLE MOJO is the first single from HUMAN OR NOT.

We didn’t ask AI to create.
We fed it our music.

No shortcuts.
No “magic prompts”.

We wrote it, played it, produced it.
Then we handed it to the machine and bent it to our purpose.

This is not a collaboration.
It’s a challenge.

“I need a Miracle Mojo to stand”

This is the Captain speaking.
A new Captain Mantell album is officially on the way.
It’s called HUMAN OR NOT
and it will be preceded by two explosive singles.
The first one: MIRACLE MOJO.
Landing on your devices very soon.
Powered by Overdrive Records, Go Down Records and Discipline PR.

Didn’t see that coming, right?
Neither did I.
A couple of years ago I wrote songs that could only belong to this band.
And the miracle happened thanks to the people already playing with me in my solo project.
They said yes instantly.
And became the new crew of Captain Mantell.

Meet them:
🚀 Roberto Olivotto (Major BD) – drums
A relentless force. Solid, precise, always there.
On stage and off — not something you take for granted with drummers.
🚀 Andrea Lombardini (Commodore Lo) – bass
World-class talent. Effortlessly moving from hardcore to jazz.
We go way back… and yes, he’s the best.
🚀 Sergio Orso (Starship Officer Ursus) – violin & synth
A whole new sonic dimension.

For the first time, Captain Mantell is a four-piece — and it changes everything.
This is the new, powerful crew of Captain Mantell.
We’re building a live show that’s basically a full-on party featuring old and new hits:
four-on-the-floor, no breaks, pure movement.
First missions coming soon.
I see you out there!!!

Yours truly,
The Captain
