Story time: 📖 Rolled up to the spot and all the pieces of evidence were reading big fish to me, the pattern of big bait moving in and the bigger fish following was right on time as it had been. I was right. I hooked up within minutes and lost a heartbreaker the fish took and easy 50+ yards of line on 25lbs of locked drag like nothing. I had her at my feet after what felt like an eternity and the fish took one last head shake and threw the swimbait! I could see she was barley hooked and just as I thought it, it happened! It was a slow motion moment watching the swimbait fly past me as she swam away ever so slowly (not gonna lie I actually continplated jumping in and grabbing her)🤦‍♂️Pure Heartbreak 💔 so I decided to give myslef and the fish a break after a little while longer, I left for a couple hours and gathered myself. I came back to the spot and this fish pictured was the outcome in 2 short cast. Moral of this story is don't give up! Don't settle! brush your shoulders off and stay focused on the prize. think positive, be positive and have positive outcomes! I hear and read from too many anglers about losing a big fish and beat themselves up over it! keep your head up and keep on casting!💯 🤜🏼💥🤛🏼 The @thump30jigs Fat Head is doing work for me!
