We’re not so big on birthday celebrations in my family (the girls do their thing) so this day is of reflection and gratitude (Psalm 90:12). Over the past few years, I’ve lost a lot of love and “friends” for reasons I can’t begin to unravel. It’s to the point where I’m desensitized to a lot of things that should matter to me but a big part of growth is shedding off dead weight and gaining new connections.

That being said, I’m grateful for those that still manage to show up and show love, I’m grateful for my family, they’re my everything, I’m grateful to God for his grace that keeps me SHINING even at the dullest moments of my life.
It’s been a very adventurous journey but God’s grace is unwavering.
