How do you store your memories? Do you bury them, cover them up, hold onto certain pieces while the rest fades away?

I think that’s a big part of why I create the way I do. It feels like the closest visual language to memory itself. Like building a place where certain thoughts and moments can still exist, even after they’ve changed over time.

Do you remember waiting at a gas station payphone in the 90s, quarters in your pocket, hoping your homie actually called back before the night disappeared? No texts, no tracking just vibes, patience, and a little bit of chaos. That feeling that unknown is what this piece lives in. “Are You High” isn’t just what your parents asked when you walked in late… it’s that hazy space between freedom and getting caught, between being gone and being found.

Another day at the office.

Cut. Paste. Paint. Repeat.

Old stories. New scars.

Vintage print, spray paint, hand-cut collage, marks, mistakes and layers all built up until the original story becomes something else.

This is the part of the process I love most: when all the separate pieces finally start speaking to each other.

This isn’t just a work in progress it’s the beginning of something new.

I’ve been exploring ways to bring together the different styles and techniques that have shaped my work over the years. Paper cutting, layering, texture, and the visual language I’ve developed are starting to merge into a single direction.

You’re seeing the first steps before the finished piece exists. Thanks for following the evolution.

Putting in the work.

Another day, another dollar… except this one is built on blind faith.

After years of creating for clients, brands, and businesses, I’m betting on myself. Every layer, every stencil, every torn fragment tells part of that story.

“Are You High” explores the tension between nostalgia and forward motion. We all have moments we’d like to revisit, decisions we’d like to rethink, chapters we’d like to edit. But life doesn’t come with a rewind button.

The only direction is forward.

Every piece starts long before the paint.

Hours of cutting, masking, layering, and planning go into creating the textures and silhouettes that eventually become part of the final work. This stage is one of my favorites the quiet part of the process where an idea starts taking shape.

Using hand cut masks, vintage collage elements, and layers of paint, I’m building the foundation for a new mixed media piece. No reveal yet. Just the work.

Sometimes the most important part of the artwork is the part!

Follow along as this one develops.

Just starting to add layers, it will be more satisfying covering them up.
