La empatía es capacidad que tiene el ser humano para recordar que un día todos fuimos lo mismo.Que éramos un trozo de estrella en medio de la galaxia.Que estamos formados por la misma materia.- La empatía es una elección.- Una forma de estar en el mundo.- Es pensar cómo puede sentirse el otro.- Ponerte en su situación.Tan sencillo como hacer lo que te gustaría que te hicieran.Y NO hacer lo que NO te gustaría que te hicieran.Si algo nos falta es empatía, no nos enseñan a ocupar otros lugares que no sean nuestros ombligos.Nos enseñan a competir y a aprender datos, pero no la inteligencia emocional necesaria para no herir a la gente.Porque la inteligencia no se mide en tus logros académicos o profesionales, no.La inteligencia del ser humano se mide por su grado de empatía.Con el resto de seres humanos y con los animales.Con su entorno.Una sociedad con grandes avances científicos y tecnológicos pero sin empatía, es una sociedad que está embalsamada hacia el futuro.Incapaz de asombrarse ante la vida y apreciarla y cuidarla.Es nuestra responsabilidad demandar empatía.Exigirla.Y ejercerla.Porque solo así, transitando la existencia intentando No hacer daño.Podremos regresar a las estrellas.Con nuestra misión cumplida.
