Cyprus 2026! What an epic trip.

My first ever international Grand Prix, and two days later my second Grand Prix - living the dream.

What an incredible trip with my shooting buddies, we have shot in squads with World Champs, have had an after comp beer with podium placed shooters, we’ve embraced disciplines that we don’t shoot everyday, and it’s fair to say we had a blast.

Thank you to my shooting buddies, and those who have helped me get to where I am today 🙌.
Thank you to all the wonderful people we met along the way who made this trip so special, and thank you Cyprus for hosting 2 incredible Grand Prix’s.

It’s been a crazy busy few months - life, shooting, work, home life etc, but the one thing that keeps me grounded and most proud of is this.

Our season starts next month, our second, and I’m feeling more confident in what to expect.

Our main goals have been working hard on our deliveries, and I can see progress, we still have work to do on the “shopping” element 🫣

We are in such a positive, friendly and supportive group.
As always Beth treats us all as individuals, praises the good, and kindly points out the bits that could be better.

I’m aware Rocket and I aren’t taking part in traditional spaniel classes, I’m very lucky that Rocket isn’t a busy nutty spaniel, so working with him to be my peg dog and picking up dog has been a joy for all around us 😂

As the rain gently falls on the roof above, my spaniel’s fast asleep at my feet, it’s the perfect day to get the shoot lunch & dinner menus finished for this season. by @rocket_and_thoro_21

Well, turns out a major operator error has been hindering the delivery…….. ME of course 🫣

I’ve been so desperate to stop the dropping of the dummy on arrival, my speedy bending down to help catch/ snatch the dummy has made the situation much worse, and me trying to grab it has made Rocket drop it even more…. So sorry Little Rocket Man.

Wonderful Beth had some words of wisdom today, and my goodness i could cry. By doing something different the delivery was amazing. Good boy 🚀

Both Rocket and I are still learning on the job, to be honest, I think we will always be learning on the job, So I’m going to keep saying that, we only know what we know, to have someone who has been there from the very start of our training put us back on track today was fantastic.

Massive thank you to Laura who takes these videos of Rocket, I don’t always post them, but I always watch them and have a huge appreciation for those in our class who find this easy. Watching these videos I can see so many things I shouldn’t be doing, rushing to put his lead on is something I’m going to seriously attempt to stop 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ he’s not going anywhere, he’s so steady and I should just trust him more …….. yet another thing to work on before our next class.

An incredible trip to the South Island - a guest aboard the mighty @rumjungleyacht was such a treat.
The team on RJ couldn’t have done more to make the best day run like clockwork. Great crew, Delicious lunch, always the best hospitality on RJ.

Hugh once again put us in the best spot to see the action for the race starts and finishes, it’s amazing to see it up close, sitting on the fly bridge watching it all happen around us with a glass of Rosé - perfect.

I’ve had the pleasure of working on RJ for well over 15 years, there have been some incredible charters, this mighty boat and all the crew over the years have had so much fun, friendships made that can’t ever be forgotten or matched. We’ve traveled to some stunning locations, had the best guests imaginable.
For me there are a few bits of music that take me straight back to those memories - The Eagles, Lady Alingui, Pina Colada, and obviously the naughty play list 🫣 so I’ve picked a galley favourite.

I hope Gemmakins, naughty Jemma, Bonnie Bad pants, Stripey, Sticky Vicky, naughty Olivia, Hard Hearted Hannah, Kenny, Antonia, and all the other great characters will be singing this for the rest of the day 🍸🤣

Great day with the lads at @southdowngunclub on Sunday.

ESP 81/100, STR 71/100 - let’s not mention the pool shoot eh🤣. In hindsight, 200 + pool shoot after a wonderful 200 sim day the day before might have been a few targets too many 🤣 but hey, I’m only here once and I’m filling it with the fun stuff in life and spending time with the good people.
Roll on next week for more of the same 💥💥💥💥

What a privilege to have been part of this incredible Simulated game day. Raising funds and awareness for @papyrus_uk, hosted by the Duke of Norfolk on the Arundel Estate.

With over 30 teams taking part, the Have a go Girls, (only ladies team) and the Have a go Boys (winners with a phenomenal score) had the pleasure of shooting well thought out game style targets. After six drives it was back to the lovely stretched marquee for a glass of fizz and a jolly good lunch.
The main event had to be the auction, the reason we had all bought a ticket, donated what we could and will continue to support this wonderful charity.
The donated auction items were sensational, when we finished lunch I believe the total raised was £81 thousand, with the smaller silent auction items still to be added on.
Charlie and his team should be so incredibly proud of what they achieved.

@papyrus_uk has a website, IG and FB account, young suicide isn’t something people generally talk about, but it’s something we should all be more aware of.

Not even the heavy rain could stop a fantastic event taking place on Monday at @ejchurchill.
The first @gratitudegames Clay shooting competition took place, and I’m so glad I took part.
Wonderful targets as you would expect from EJs, matched with the enthusiasm of the Gratitude Games team made for a brilliant day.

Thank you very much to all who helped make it happen.

Ladies High Gun was an unexpected surprise, to match Linda’s score was more than I could have hoped for.
