Sometimes the hardest part is simply knowing what to say. 💜🩵

During Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, we want to remind our community that you don’t have to be a mental health professional to check in on someone you care about. Sometimes a genuine conversation, a listening ear, and your willingness to stay present can make a difference.

Ask how they’ve really been doing. Listen without judgment. Don’t rush the conversation. And when you’re concerned, don’t be afraid to ask the difficult question.

At R.Y.L Outreach Group, we believe it takes a village—and being part of someone’s village means showing up when they need you most.

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and throughout this month, R.Y.L Outreach Group is committed to using our platform to educate, encourage, and remind our community that every life matters. 💜🩵

We’re starting with something we can all do: Know the warning signs.

Sometimes “I’m fine” isn’t the whole story. A change in someone’s behavior, mood, habits, or communication may be a sign that they need additional support. Pay attention. Check in. Be willing to listen without judgment.

You don’t have to have all the answers to make a difference—you simply have to care enough to show up.

Throughout September, we’ll continue sharing information, conversations, and resources to help bring awareness to suicide prevention and encourage our community to look out for one another.

We had the opportunity to spend time reading with students at Johnson Montessori School, because improving literacy starts with showing up and investing time in our youth. ❤️📖

With literacy scores continuing to be a major concern, we don’t just want to talk about the problem—we want to be a part of the solution. Whether it’s reading with a child, equipping parents with resources, or creating educational opportunities, every step matters.

It truly takes a village, and we’re committed to doing our part.
