This is a tough one. In 2018, when I first moved to LA, my dear friend @aaronhagar put me in touch with the legendary Tim Gore. I had been a makeup artist for several years, but I was a “baby” when it came to makeup fx. He didn’t hesitate to call me and arrange a meet up that very day. On that first call, he told me to write down a list of all of the great fx artists (I still have that list) and said that I was absolutely required to go to Monsterpalooza. He was my personal chaperone for that first Monsterpalooza. He took me around to everyone and introduced me, even stopping Rick Baker to take a photo with me (which Rick graciously did). I went to all 3 days, and hung out with Tim and @vonfraser at the Createx booth. It didn’t stop there. On another day, he drove me around Burbank, taking me to various fx shops, introducing me to Vincent Van Dyke and helping me put together a starter fx kit at Nigel’s. He even came over to my place and taught me how to do bruises (and he brought fixings for mimosas 🥂). He was the one who convinced me to get an Instagram account! Most importantly, he introduced me to the handsome, talented werewolf @markjurinko! I could go on and on…lots of laughs and a few hangovers! He was a kind, sensitive and sometimes tortured soul. I know that he is not only at peace now, he is reunited with his mom, who he missed every day. Thank you, T Gore. I will never forget you. 💕💕 P.S. I chose this song because he always played it on the jukebox when we hung out. by @rocknrollrabbit
