Woke up this morning reminiscing of those days when we used to wait in line at @frankandsonshow so we can get absolutely cooked at 60% comps by Kevin #IYKYK Thank you @7thinningstretch_ and @serpa.sportscards for saving us newbs 😂

By far my favorite part of the hobby are the life long friendships!
.
In the early days, my guy @collecting4fun23 was stacking up on rare 90s basketball inserts and parallels ( Star Rubies, High grade MJs, SLAM BAMS ) He tried to put us on but we ended up buying up Zion, Ja prizms 🫠😂 @bnbsportscollector was buying up Zach Lavine and Sekou Doumbouya 🙃

When we first launched the @newportshowcase in 2021, I explored all over the internet, looking for resources on how to build the best card show possible. The only resource I can find is this 20 min interview on @ray_schulte 🐐
.
Ray served as the Comms Director for many years for the National, a position I felt help bridge the gap from the trading card hobby of years past to the industry we now call “The Hobby”
.
Fast forward to today and there are a plethora of hobby content, “hobby” experts, and professionals. Many of us who have made a full time career in this hobby, including myself, owe Ray a thank you for the pioneer work he has done. Thank you, Ray 🙏🏽 taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @rockpaper.ej

What a year! 2025 was filled with a whole lotta eating 🍽️, traveling ✈️, winning 🏆
.
Few highlights:
- My wife and I launched @rockpaperstickers.co from our garage in Feb. Moved to our 2 story HQ behind Allegiant Stadium in June and grew to a 6 figure business in 10 months.
- My niece, Mia placed Gold 🥇and became #1 in the world in her age group
- Lost 27lbs and finally can clear 225 in the bench once more 😤
- Joined one of my dream companies and had a killer Q4. More on that in Q1 26 🤫
