The more I lean on God the more peace I’ll have

Some of you may not know or may know , this past year I was dealing with a break up that not only messed me up mentally but also emotionally and physically. I was bitter, angry and not knowing what to do with myself and I was all over the place . But yesterday as I was at the mall , God spoke to me and he said “I’m giving you peace now , don’t worry about him anymore, I got him , the enemy will never bring up your past again “!! And that stuck with me since yesterday. Also I forgave him as well for all the pain he caused me , I realize that I couldn’t move forward without forgiving him and I did just that!! So now I’m living my life the right way and that’s God’s way. Proverbs 3 - “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding and all your ways knowledge Him”

25.

A number I used to dream about… and now I’m living it.

This year feels different. Not because everything has been perfect, but because God has been faithful through every imperfect moment. I walked through things that tried to break me, stretch me, confuse me, and even silence me—but I’m still here. And not just here… I’m growing, healing, learning, and becoming.

When I look back at the girl I used to be… the one who tried to fit in, the one who struggled to love herself, the one who didn’t always make the best decisions, the one who felt lost…
I see someone who survived more than she ever talked about.

God kept His hand on me when I didn’t understand why.
He protected me when I didn’t even realize I needed protecting.
He called me when I wasn’t even listening.
And He loved me through every season—especially the ones I thought disqualified me.

Now, stepping into 25, I feel a shift.
A peace.
A new strength.
A softer heart, but a stronger mind.
A desire to grow, to love better, to choose wisely, to walk purposefully, and to keep God at the center of everything.

I’m entering this new year with:

✨ More gratitude
✨ More self-control
✨ More discipline
✨ More boundaries
✨ More joy
✨ More faith

This chapter is personal.
This chapter is intentional.
This chapter is God-written.

Cheers to 25 — to healing, to growth, to becoming the woman I prayed I’d become.
And to all the blessings God has waiting for me on the other side of obedience.
