Check that off my bucket list... first year being a Haunt Actor and got to scare @lizzobeeating & @n3onsingh yesterday at @lahauntedhayride
Its been a hell of a Haunt Season with the Fallen Angel Fam #fallenangel #lahauntedhayride #lizzo #n3on

Yesterday was the start of the last week of haunt season. I’ve had a blast but its definitely been exhausting. This will be the busiest week of the season sooo tips if you go to a haunt.

1) Enjoy the mazes… dont rush through them and miss out on the details of the haunt
2) Give some space between you and the group ahead to allow the scare actors to reset between groups- trust me pop scares dont really work when a group of 10+ come through at once
3) DO NOT get in the face of the scare actors to try and show how tough you are or try to scare the scare actors- you’re dumb! I would throat punch you if I wouldnt get fired.
4) dont run ahead of your group to try and scare them around a turn, you are literally taking away from the build up of the scare actor who is working and getting paid to do it… if you want to do it so bad, apply for a job as a scarer.
5) If you are unamused and just walking through the maze like you are bothered by being there… why come?!?! Just stay home.
6) Stop hitting on the scare actors, None of us are interested when we are literally being our character.
7) Dont attempt to grab, kiss or hug a scare actors. I will stab you.
8) Allow yourself to react and enjoy the haunt, it makes a better experience for all of us who are there for hours hearing the same sound track in a room of strobe lights and fog machines doing the same motions over and over even through our haunters cough to do our job and scare you.
Happy last week of Spooky Season! Be kind to your scare actors. #haunter #scareactor #hauntactor #lahauntedhayride by @rockysbootique

Yesterday I was placed in the wall of mirrors room for the first time. I saw so many people get scared from their own reflection and also a handful of people walk face first into a mirror. Then there were the people who would get lost and just keep circling around trying to find their way out and having to ask me how to get out. But the funnest were those who literally dropped when I would clack my fan to scare them cause they expected it to be another mirror. Fun times. #haunter #hauntactor #scareactor #lahauntedhayride by @rockysbootique

Swapping out the wig for the last 2 weeks of haunt season. Excited to see what the makeup artist do and how different it’ll look with this hair. #hauntactor #haunter #scareactor #lahauntedhayride by @rockysbootique

Last night’s makeup was so far my favorite. Still amazed at how different my character looks every night depending on what makeup artist I get and how they portray “crazed 80s fan”.
Also got my contacts from @moco_queen still very much struggling like 30 mins to put them on. And by the end of the night everything is blurry and smokey because of all the dirt and fog machines.
Love how they make me look creepier. #haunter #scareactor #lahauntedhayride #cuteandterrifying by @rockysbootique

Hit a rough patch this weekend with the haunting season sickies. Feeling like death is no fun when you have to scare, but it does add to the creepy and terror vibes when I just stare people down from a distance and follow them till they feel uncomfortable. Hey it worked. Here are the makeup looks from Saturday and Sunday. Funny how each makeup artist has their own style to Crazed 80s Fan. #haunter #scareactor #lahauntedhayride by @rockysbootique

Last nights look was more crazed than terrifying. Was in the “dressing room” most of the night so took advantage of hitting a dismembered leg against the walls to scare people. It worked. #haunter #scareactor #lahauntedhayride #crazedfan #cutebutcrazy by @rockysbootique

Im been adding a lil bit of eyeliner and blood to the make-up looks the past few haunt nights. I like how just a lil elevates the creepy terrifying look Im going for. I’ll try an take a full outfit look sometime this weekend. #haunter #scareactor #hauntedhayride #crazedfan #fallenangel by @rockysbootique

Started to post this like at 1 something in the morning and passed out from being dead tired.
Anywhoo this was last night’s makeup. I like seeing the variety from all the makeup artist each night. #lahauntedhayride #spookysrason #scareactor #haunter #cutebutterrifying by @rockysbootique
