• KIKI presents 'SEA OF NECTAR'
.
An audio-visual journey that meditates on our use of the earth’s natural resources, encapsulated within the artesenal production of surf wax made from local Iberican beeswax in Portugal.
Traditional surf wax is produced using paraffin, a synthetic and chemically processed by-product of carbon emitting oil refining. The film will show the beauty and intrigue of this alternative ingredient, beeswax, and explore a more environmentally considerate way of using natural resources.
