🟩 Wat verandert er van generatie op generatie in Dutch Design? Hoe kan Dutch Design relevant blijven? En hoe koop je bewuster meubels?We gingen hierover in gesprek met Dutch designer Roderick Vos, een van de grote namen binnen het Nederlandse meubel- en productontwerp. Een ontwerper die al decennialang meedraait en wiens werk zich beweegt tussen idee en industrie, tussen experiment en bruikbaarheid, en tussen Dutch Design en de Nederlandse woonkamer. In deze post zie je zijn werk (swipe)! En ook zie je hier een carpet van Claire Vos, de wederhelft van Roderick, van @moooicarpets bij staan. Want Roderick zegt hierover: “zij is een zeer belangrijk onderdeel in onze studio (Studio Roderick Vos), we zijn een designduo.” Roderick nam ook een object mee, een belachelijk object zelfs! The Salone del Mobile 2026 will see @linteloo showcase designs that place dialogue at the heart of their concept. One of our designs presented is TEMBO, inspired by the beautifully irregular shapes found in nature. We proudly present the BASALT low table series for @linteloo created in cooperation with @ranierilavastone In these designs, spare, brutalist forms give way to the true protagonist: lava. Our new oak TEMBO table for @linteloo shows subtle divergences, as if it has lived a long and interesting life. In reality, these worn-looking details are anything but accidental—every curve is carefully designed. A detail of our Urchina Light for @moooi . It feels less like an object and more like a living presence suspended in air. Inspired by the symmetry of sea urchins, we translated an underwater anatomy into a floating constellation of light with slender carbon rods reaching outward, glowing gently at their tips. @statiuspr #moooi #moooidesign #studioroderickvos #roderick_vos #claire_vos by @roderick_vos

An inspiring collaboration with Ranieri Lavastone, resulting in striking brutalist product design for our client Linteloo. With these designs the material takes centre stage: black lava stone.
