Regina tells me that a couple of new bikers were seen riding through Mount Vernon, Kentucky this afternoon. 😳

I wonder if they’ll stay for dinner? by @rodneygriffin

Took this picture earlier this week.

Maybe I’ll call it something deep and philosophical:

It happened to John the Baptist:

“And his disciples came and took up THE BODY and buried IT and went and told Jesus.” -Matt. 14:12

Then it happened to Jesus:

“Joseph…went to Pilate, and begged THE BODY of Jesus.”

And it will happen to us.

“For we know that if OUR EARTHLY HOUSE of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens”. -2 Corinthians 5:1

Our change is coming…from being known as a “person”…to just a “body”.

And it could happen any second.

Scary?

These bodies aren’t built to last…they’re temporary and fragile.

Ask any 90-year-old. Life passes fast.

So how do we balance body and spirit - temporary and eternal things?

By surrendering to what matters most…the One Who made us forever beings.

It’s okay to preserve the temporary…as long as we are prioritizing the eternal. by @rodneygriffin

I grilled all these chicken tenders…

Then remembered that Regina doesn’t eat meat much.

It’s going to be a long meal. 😳 by @rodneygriffin
