How to create the SOLSTICE Runway Side Part Bun.

Start with freshly washed hair.

Create a part from just above the outer edge of the right eye on a diagonal line to the center of the crown.

Lightly mist that area with Redken Triple Take 32 to avoid flyaways.

Smooth the top and sides.
Create a pony at the occipital bone for the perfect bun position and secure with a tie.

Mist again with Triple Take 32.

Apply a small amount (pea or almond size) of Max Sculpting Gel.

Twist the pony.

Coil into a bun.

Insert bobby pins through the outer edge of the bun into the base pony to anchor it. Hide pins discreetly within the bun.

Lightly mist the entire bun with Triple Take 32 to set the shape.

Finish with Redken Shine Flash for gloss and use a clean comb or your fingers to gently press any last flyaways.

Then: Go get it girl!

As we head into spring, we’re starting to see warmth coming back into blonde.
After seasons of cooler, cleaner tones, I’m loving the shift towards softer golden blondes.

We’re also seeing men’s colour becoming increasingly popular in salon, with more guys experimenting with colour and using their hair as another way to express their personal style.

For Clarke a hybrid athlete, that meant keeping the look strong and masculine while introducing a warmer golden blonde that gives the hair dimension and works perfectly with the shorter texture.

It’s also a great example of how much men’s grooming has evolved. Colour doesn’t have to feel overdone or overly “done”, it can simply become part of the overall look.

Definitely a tone I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of heading into Spring/Summer ☀️
