And that’s a wrap.

I Madonnari 2023 was great. Lots of compliments and sore knees.
Thanks to those that came by and said hi.
And super fun seeing everyone wearing my #rodriguezartt on their chests. Tshirts are fun :)

Ok, thanks to Kai and everyone over at @childrenscreativeproject for hosting the event.

Cheers to all the artists, may they all be supported in their crafts.

Hit me up for commissions and murals.

🎹A surprise @pianosonstate performance this morning with Pianist @jacopogiacopuzzipiano and Artist @rodriguezartt ✈️This pop-up program hosts hand-painted pianos along State Street but this one is part of a permanent installation here at SBA Baggage Claim. "Play Me" next time you're waiting for luggage and find hidden messages from the artist in the design!

Here’s a version that makes it clear it’s a work in progress:

Working on something new. 👀

Here’s a little sneak peek of a mural I’m currently painting for Blue Owl in Santa Barbara, just off State Street. This one is still very much a work in progress, but it’s been exciting watching it come to life layer by layer.

Really grateful to collaborate with a spot that’s all about bringing people together through incredible food, live music, and community.

Stay tuned. There’s still a lot more to come.

If you’re in Santa Barbara, stop by @blueowlsb , grab a bite, catch some live music, and check out the mural as it evolves.

Today I took down my show at M. Special in Goleta.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a conversation, supported my work, or took a piece home. It is always a little bittersweet seeing a show come down, but I’m incredibly grateful for all of the love and support.

If you had your eye on a painting but didn’t get a chance to grab it before the show ended, there’s still a chance. Many of the pieces are still available.

Just send me a DM and I’ll send you photos, sizes, pricing, and availability. I can also arrange local pickup or shipping.

Thank you for supporting local artists and following along on this creative journey. I’m excited for what’s next.

🎨 DM me if you’re interested in any of the remaining work.

Back at the @summersolsticesb workshop at @sbcaw bringing another piece to life for this year’s Elephant Parade Project. This one is based on a design by the legendary Pali X Mano and will make its way down the parade route next weekend accompanied by the incredible sounds of @sb.brasscals.

It’s always inspiring to be surrounded by artists, makers, musicians, and volunteers who come together to create something larger than themselves. Summer Solstice is one of the most vibrant celebrations of creativity and community that I know, and I’m grateful to have been a part of it for many years.

Looking forward to putting the finishing touches on this piece, diving into a few other commissions and projects, and making the most of what’s shaping up to be an exciting summer. We’re lucky to live in a place that values art, expression, and community the way Santa Barbara does.

Last call! 📞

My show at M. Special Brewery @mspecialbrewco comes down this week. If you’ve been meaning to see it, swing by, grab a beer, and check it out before it’s gone.

A number of pieces are still available. Shoot me a DM if you’re interested in purchasing artwork or want photos and pricing.

Thanks to everyone who’s stopped by and supported the work. ❤️

State Street just got a little more colorful 🎨🖍️💙

This year, @artsdistrictsb partnered with @rodriguezartt to bring the spirit of I Madonnari downtown, in support of the Italian Street Painting Festival and the Children’s Creative Project, which brings arts education to schools across the county.

Come check out the mural (if you haven’t already), and join the Italian Street Painting Festival at the Old Mission Santa Barbara, May 23–25, 2026. taken in Santa Barbara Museum of Art by @rodriguezartt

We’re honored to continue our collaboration with the @childrenscreativeproject and bring the spirit of @imadonnari to the ARTS District again!🎨

Santa Barbara artist @rodriguezartt has created a street painting in the heart of the ARTS District, right in front of the @sbmuseart!

This special collaboration is in support of I Madonnari & the Children’s Creative Project, which brings arts education programs to schools throughout the county.

And be sure to visit @imadonnari at the Old Mission this weekend where the ARTS District is helping sponsor a Super Square, and see other amazing artists at work!

Visit www.ccp.sbceo.org for details about I Madonnari & the Children’s Creative Project!
