My exhibition is opening this coming Thursday. It is nearly installed due to the efforts of Dany and Venny(daughters) and Paul Davy and his team at the Broadway Gallery. Many, many thanks. Just getting really nervous.

I notice that our weather is changeable, so I'm putting up a couple of photos taken in Italy to reflect this. I am also flagging up my forthcoming show which opens on the 17th and just beginning to get nervous.

I've started so I'll finish. 10 more portraits from the exhibition of puppets and puppeteers that I did of 20 or more years ago. It was called Shoot the Puppet.
Number 6 is the famous Flat Eric.

Going through my stuff I came across this panoramic shot of Rachel and Annie on David and Rachel's allotment. The shed is amazing and if I remember correctly was only standing up by virtue of the items inside. It looks like some kind of shipwreck.

Must be well over 20 years ago that I met the actor/ agent John Field who represented a range of talented puppeteers. We came up with the idea of an exhibition of portraits of these talented individuals..The exhibition was called Shoot the Puppet. Here is a selection of 10. I'll probably put up 10 more in a day or two. Could be the best set of portraits that I've done.

Still taking the odd photo, I saw this little scene recently but I'm working towards an exhibition in mid September, see second image that was put up recently by The Broadway Gallery, Letchworth.

We had such a wonderful garden crop of daisies this year that I belatedly made this painting in celebration. It's quite big in real life, A2 in size.

A change from the photos for a while
Now that the madness of the World Cup has disappeared I have amused myself by doing some studies of moments most foul.
Here are 4 fouls/ accidents

A very slight joke I know but this is another Nunn photo but this one is of the great theatre director Trevor Nunn taken a few years ago for one of the colour magazines.
