As my time here comes to an end, I am truly grateful for all that I’ve accomplished and been a part of. I am officially a proud alumni of ECU. Thank you for the lessons learned, the friendships formed, and more.

Thank you, ECU!

What a long, impactful, and unforgettable four years it’s been. My time here has been a journey of self-discovery, learning who I am, identifying my strengths and weaknesses, and most importantly, uncovering my passions.

When I first stepped onto ECU campus, I wanted to be a doctor. That dream quickly evolved as I explored different paths in the medical field, I realized early on that I wanted to be in control & I didn’t want anyone telling me what to do. That’s when I found my true calling: becoming my OWN boss.

Now, I am proudly obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Communications.

People often asked me, “Why ECU?” And to be real with you & not to get too deep but my ancestors and civil rights leaders didn’t fight for me to avoid spaces that were not made for me but they fought for me to have the freedom to take up space wherever I choose. This experience taught me how to show up, stand out, and speak up in every room I enter.

Forever grateful. Forever your favorite Pirate.💜💛

Fun fact; I only seen the campus at night 🙂 by @rodsvisuals
